He is a gone-too-soon, amazing, Shakespearean, multi-talented actor. I've been binging Jim Varney content.

Queen City Savings I thought that was in Queens NY but it's actually in NJ wow that's a surprise. But anyway I wonder if this bank is still around or did it merge with 1 of today's most known banks like M&T Bank?

One of the lowest rated NBC affiliates in the country. This was only a few years after they got in trouble for inserting their weatherman into the late movie.

The Wendy's commercials needed her to be a bit more positive when in Wendy's. This was an obvious conclusion.

9 years and no comments that's a bummer. Thank you for posting this, I was feeling nostalgic and searched the old waterloo craft show because my parents sold hand crafted sailing ships there every year when I was a child. I was 7 at the time of this one.

I was born in 1983 and I remember the commercial of him falling out the window(ladder). All through life I would ask people do they remember that commercial and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. For years I thought his character was named Larry (which was probably being such a 3 stoogies fan). My mother happen to say the name Enerst and it all came back. I vaguely remember the shows but that goes to tell you how much of an impact JV had.

Wow!! How they plugged a game show which had elements of Wheel of Fortune, Scrabble, Password Plus/Super Password. But was the first game to offer $1,000,000 as the top prize before Millionaire!

The Morning Show. This same show would later become Live with Regis and Kathie Lee just three years later in 1988. The show also went into national syndication at that same time. The show still exists today as Live with Kelly and Mark (hosted by longtime married couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos). Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest also served as cohosts on this show over the years. Regis Philbin’s wife Joy Philbin, former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, and actor, game show host, and talk show host Jerry O’Connell have also served as longtime fill in hosts on Live over the years.

Its lineage was preceded by Good Morning New York (with such rotating hosts as Spencer Christian, Andrea Kirby, Dick Wolfsie, Judy Licht and Doug Johnson) and, before that, A.M. New York (whose first host was John Bartholomew Tucker, but whose most famous - or infamous - was Stanley Siegel).

Maybe I'm imagining it but I feel like Dave Letterman referenced this act out of context on a few occasions, in particular Elrod calling to his mother, and I always found it funny.
