Definitely an upgrade in comfort compared to the 130i! Although I do miss the N52 and the precise E8X E9X chassis...

@@nvl2691 so nice the E39, a true classic
@AdriWeedMan7 ай бұрын
I saw in your others vids you had e36 compact, how does it compare with 130i? Obviously 130i is faster but I mean in terms of fun, every day drive, feelings... I noticed that e36 windows are larger so this will be sure an advantage over tiny windows in 130i. Cheers

Hi there! In between the 2, I had an E46 330Ci M-Sport Coupé (which is my profile picture) and another E36 323i Coupé. Honestly, the 130i is quite similar in feeling to the E36 chassis. It has very communicative steering, and the engine is an absolute masterpiece. Torque everywhere, smooth as butter, and that sound. Oh my! The E36s were more comfortable, especially the Coupé. The E46 was the most comfortable of the bunch, it felt like a proper luxury car, where-as the 130i and E36 feel noticeably cheaper inside. The 130i is a great highway cruiser, it has very good acceleration in 6th gear (can more or less keep up with modern turbocharged cars), and fuel consumption is the lowest between all 4 cars - despite it having the biggest engine and the most power! Incredible engineering. The chassis on the E87 is so capable, it gives so much confidence and it's so stable. At 200 km/h it felt more stable than the Compact at 140 km/h. The E46 was a great car, but it didn't quite seduce me like the other 2 chassis have. It just felt a little too... quiet? Wasn't much emotion there. Objectively a much better can than the E36 but I never really fell in love. When I bought the 323i Coupé after selling the E46, I was very happy to be back in an E36. The most fun is honestly the 130i. I've never driven a car that begs you so much to beat on it. Everything about the car just makes you wanna go fast. It's a good and a bad thing because well, you need speed to have fun. The E36 was fun around everywhere, the 130i is annoying in town and in traffic because you just want to GO. I'm confident the 130i is part of the reason why BMW owners have such a bad reputation. It just turns you into a madman. What I miss the most about the E36 is actually the engine sound. It was my first car, I am quite nostalgic about it. The N52 in the 1er sounds amazing, and better than the M52, but I can't help but miss the old E36 engine sound. It's just nostalgia. But I'll never sell my 130i. Might buy another E36 though, before the prices truly skyrocket!

@@nvl2691 thanks for share, I think the same about my 130i "you need speed to have fun" anyway we have great cars, I feel that my e87 is so well made, solid car. I wish I could take out catalytic converter and pass emissions test xD that sound... and more horsepower too :D

nice to see n52 content , keep it ! did you notice any difference with k&n filter ? I have only silicone tube mod
@nvl26918 ай бұрын
Thanks! The K&N filter definitely made a difference, especially from the interior. If you have a 130i, the silicone intake pipe actually makes it quieter! The 130i intake pipe has a sound generator, which is why it sounds so nice and loud from the inside.

Since KZbin doesn’t let me post a description, here it is. 2006 BMW E87 130i M-Sport manual, early model with the 265 hp silver top N52 and the hydraulic power steering. Needs a good service, new DISA valves and Vanos solenoids although it does seem to make the power it should in the higher rev range. It’s on old 205 winter tyres that provide absolutely no traction in 1st gear, especially since this POS doesn’t have an LSD.

Hey! I recommended you get the Hack Engineering oil pump timing chain tensioner kit (uses an OEM BMW S54 tensioner), as well as the OEM E46 330i ZHP oil pump nut which already has a safety wire. Enjoy the car!

uff I have a toyota corolla runx z vvtli at 8200rpm and it flies, I just have to recover the lost hp over the years, for sure it is 5 to 10 hp and then I want to reach 300 hp it seems little but I want my toyota to only weigh 1000kg
@nvl26913 жыл бұрын
300 hp on a 2ZZ-GE will be insanely difficult and prohibitively expensive unless you go down the route of forced induction. Intake, header, exhaust and MWR / Piper stage 2 camshafts, with a good remap, should give you 230-235 hp at the crank - which is plenty enough for a RunX!

I sure am! Besides, why wouldn’t a petrolhead like me possible not enjoy watching a Ferrari 458 Speciale race against a similarly species 458 Speciale in a drag race? It’s CSR2 that we’re talking about here! The pure essence of what a racing game should be like! No wonder why the Queen tried out the game - it’s just too much not to take notice off!
