An old Sterling has come up for sale local for £10. Needs a lot of work, most of which I could do. Is it worth saving?

My YT settings were at 1.5 playback speed before I realised as I couldn’t believe the speed of these two, when I realised I reset to 1.0 playback speed and I still can’t believe it

Problem with sierra is she`s a speed freak. She always has to out play everyone showing off her virtuoso on the mandolin. I don`t think she`s capable of playing an slow lullaby , she`s on an ego trip for speed and has to win the competence race against any accompanist out to prove she`s the best or better. Maybe sometimes you can be too good and spoils the ambiance and choice of music as all eyes a fixed on her fret board admiring her playing. I`ve never seen her play a slow ballad.

You should try listening to her latest album, "25 Trips"; of course, then people will be complaining that it's "boring" because there isn't as much oi her virtuoustic picking.... For example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKmodZKgoq2Mmc0

Such talent and she knows how to play a room. Many don't know sadly. She has a warmer sound which I prefer. He has a harder more percussive sound. Both are excellent players. If she smiled at you, it would be hard not to smile back. She's also so beautiful and had a fun personality.
