Hopefully I can get a base of 70 different ones if they all sale it'll be $700 and have already sold a couple at $10 a peace I've started a pattern book I will replace tic mark them as they sale to keep track of what sales and what I'll rethink and replace . I need to find a place to sale though I live on my brother-in-law's property and he's not to keen on the traffic and I don't have the money to pay for a spot at a local farmers market but I'll figure it out
@mrharrharr99
@mrharrharr99 Ай бұрын
These are really well done. $5-8 each is underselling yourself. I don't know what your local art community is like, but I think $10-20 is a reasonable price for the skill alone. Best of luck and stay safe during storm season

Thank you. The town I live in is small and I thought I'd try a yard sale $5 would be my bare minimum and if people seem to like them I'll raise my price but I can make 3-4 of them in an hour watching TV in the evenings if I plan ahead so with the initial investment of about $20 for wire and spray paint I'll gain more than I lose and my carvings take days to complete and will be priced in the $100's that my wire art and metal embossing will be my main sales when I reenter the local art market but it's been years the art world has changed but I'm going to give it a shot wish me luck I'll need it and thanks for watching and commenting

No problem the cinder blocks I use have ridge's on the end that helps in keeping the table in place you may have to clamp or glue something to accomplish the same thing if all you can find are flat ends the table itself is just some boards I had lying around screwed together the bottle a juice bottle it's a good size but anything the rope or bungee cord can grab hold off will work. Use what you have around you if you can no need to spend money if you can help it

Yeah started carvings in 97 it helped me get through my father's death,my family thought they were pretty good so I started selling them at craft fair's. You see I had quit my job to take care of my father after his stroke and making and selling my carvings brought me out of the depression of losing him but couldn't make it living at it so I got a real job and quit carving for a while. I broke my legs at work in 2014 and it took me a year and a half to recover enough to work again in 2016 but during my recovery I started carving again, then c19 hit my boss decided to quit his business and my truck broke down my legs won't allow me to do manual labor jobs anymore I've tried. I was a stainless steel worker replacing equipment in food processing plants all across the country. So I started carving again and started my KZbin channel. I moved here at my sister's property to recover after I broke my legs and after her death my brother-in-law allows me to stay here and help on the farm as much as I can and keep him company and cook he'd burn a pot of water hopefully some day my KZbin channel might make me a little money but until then I get by selling my carvings I get better with each carving so if I find something that makes it easier to carve for me I'll pass it on through my channel
