kinda huge gaps around your ankle where the material just cannot fit flush to your foot because your midfoot forces the boot to stretch. i could never play in those with the ankle area being this floppy. i dont fault the boots tho for it

Yeah I have gaps on the side which don't look the best but I don't really care how they look, I'm used to it. As long as they are comfortable and perform well I don't mind.

Nike Tiempo Legend 10 is my personal preference I've currently been wearing the Nike Tiempo Legend Pro 10s in AG Pro and FGs and Turfs and the FlyTouch Pro Material has Softened up significantly and they feel stupid comfortable just like a Kangaroo Leather boot i done a few Training Session's in them i felt i needed the upper to stretch more for my Wider Flat Feet i wore them in a warm Shower to soften up the upper and they definitely run true to size in my UK 12 I've even got plenty of wiggle room now in the toebox i absolutely love them for Shooting as I'm a Striker JB11 😊👍🏾

It terms of width, I say the mercs are slightly wider. In terms of sizing in the Sokito I went half a size up.

Thank you for doing an mg video. Do you thing the MG or The AG soleplate is better for both AG and FG surfaces? So to rephrase my question, which soleplate (AG or MG) would be the better FG/AG option for the Puma 5 Ultimate? Can you possibly do an AG soleplate video? If not I understand.

The AG soleplate would be better suited for both. The studs on that soleplate are the same length as an fg, but they are conical, so it's safe to use on AG. I think the MG studs are too short for FG unless it is a harder FG pitch. I unfortunately will not be getting the AG soleplate for review.

I think that performance wise they are good. I'm just not a fan of thicker socks and I would say that these fall under that category

Did you have enough space after your toes end in the Mercs? I ordered these in true to size and have negligible space after my toes end and wondering whether I should order half a size up and see. The rest of the boot is comfy and snug. The GX2 had the usual half inch space up front like other Nike boots. Good comparo!

Yeah the length is perfect for me. I don't think they will stretch length wise. So if they feel super tight maybe going half a size up won't hurt.
