What a lame outdrawn card-trick by someone who thinks 'weird' is a personality trait. It's a no for me.
@huntersunАй бұрын
Simply speaking, you have pre-memorized the whole deck. When doing the waterfall, you have already counted the cards fell so that you already knew which two cards once Penn said "stop". Nice trick and excellent memorizing and waterfall counting skill.

the quick glance is easy to spot.. and how he does it is so quick and innocent that P&T may not be paying attention, still looking at their own cards or somewhere else, probably Alyson since the focus is on her at the time.. Wes Barker admits to being able to quickly look at a telephone book page in front of the host and P&T and there's an Oreo cookie and milk trick which shows what magicians can get away with right in front of P or T in literal plain sight... 4:41 - 4:44, I think he's using overexaggerated and animated hand expressions (which he did earlier) as well as conversation as misdirection to find a specific card and separate it from the main pile if you look at his eyes and the moment he decides to wave his hands around..

.... so the last trick I thought was obvious, and it turns out I was fooled (which makes me immensely happy).... and this one.... I have no idea what trick you used but there is some pattern that you would need to follow, but P&T did see it. Fooler or not, immensely enjoyable, and thank you for not spoiling the result in the title.

Alright, I have to eat some humble pie. I was very unimpressed because it just felt like a force in the beginning and since you looked through the decks it just allowed you to pick the cards that you knew that they were..... but..... since this was not a force..... then I have no idea how you did it. Good job. Love the act itself :).

"Your cards must've been placed next to each other" But penn and teller were the ones cutting the deck There is a very small chance where they could have cut the deck in the exact spot where their two cards were

It was a good trick but how it was done seems a bit sketchy. He made the first part where they picked the cards look like a force in order to fool penn and teller. It would have looked a better trick if they just picked a card but he made the trick look worse in order to win.

This was so creative! I think I know how he did it (predefined order of one deck, each day one card moving from the top to bottom or vice versa, combined with an algorithm he can do in his head to get the offset from he one deck he memorized) but the story, setup and obfuscation were awesome! What a wonderful trick!

His second appearance gave away how he did the first trick. He memorized the order of the deck in a way that seems random but he knows where every card belongs. As long as it’s not shuffled before they choose a card. When they each go to pick a card. He waves the card at 2:11. He can see over Alyson’s shoulder on the screen what the card is meaning the two cards below that card were the two cards they chose. After that everything else is for show, it makes no difference where the cards end up because he knows what they are. Also, the waterfall had nothing to do with it. They could have stopped anywhere and chosen any cards.

this one is too easy. just start with a shuffled deck, but have alternating odd and even numbered cards. You'll automatically end up with an even pile that has one odd in it, and an odd pile with one even card in it. Siegfried doesn't use odd/even ordering but some other, less obvious method of starting with some ordered deck.

You're such a great and entertaining magician, the first time you were so happy to fool them, this time you were also happy to see that Penn and Teller understood what you were doing. This makes you a winner, independent of taking another trophy or not.

ohhh i think i know how you did this. did you create an offset based on each date? a maths function to solve each deck? if so you are doing crazy math in your head but it works perfectly

This has got to be the easiest trick to ever fool them. This is like the first card trick I ever learned. That way was done by the deck alternating between red and black at the start, obviously he didn't do exactly that but he just knew the order and the 2 cards that were selected went back in the opposite order to how they came out. Easy.
