I never saw that recipe before it looked great I was ready to swim in it until you added the ranch dressing I think that's totally going to ruin the effect of the Caesar dressing but I wouldn't use it but still an interesting salad thank you

Why is she wearing gloves in her own home??🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I guess everyone else who cooked before they invented latex gloves lived life in the fast lane?🤣🤣
@lindamann85204 күн бұрын
Bc you can transfer bacteria to your food using bare hands, especially if you are doing anything that isn't cooked afterwards, like any fresh veggies, fresh fruit salads, charcuterie boards, etc. Bacteria can lodge under your nails, etc.

@lindamann8520 I am 61 Years old. I have never worn gloves in the kitchen. Even when making tortillas. 🤦🏼♀️ This generation 🤷🏼♀️
@lindamann85204 күн бұрын
@@Lusee22 actually, I get what you are saying. I retired from food service after three decades. I know why they wear gloves, what the risk factors are. The risk factors are higher without gloves. However, if you are comfortable with no gloves in your own kitchen, I think you should cook like you want. I choose to wear gloves bc of what I have learned on my job. My Mom is a great cook, and she didn't wear gloves, but she was a careful cook, making you wash your hands numerous times. Because she taught me such good habits in the kitchen, I had no probs in food service, passing numerous health inspections and scrutiny, ServSafe classes and in-house exams. I DO wear gloves when I am prepping my uncooked salads and fresh veggies/fruits that will be eaten uncooked. Sometimes the one you protect by doing this is you. If you prep a raw meat product without gloves and with a cut or injury to your hand, you could get a very NASTY infection that would be hard to treat. I'm not criticizing you. I believe you are also a careful cook. But there are instances where gloves are a great choice, especially if you are feeding someone besides your immediate family. I have disposable gloves always available in my kitchen and use them on a regular basis. But you should do what is best for your home. 👍

It’s best to shred the cheese yourself. The manufacturers are putting some unneeded ingredients in shredded cheese Your recipe looks tasty.

I make it with both red & green grapes. It's so delicious & perfect during the hot months. The recipe I use is a copycat of Chicken Salad Chick if anyone wants to look it up. This one looks delicious too with just the green grapes.
