I basically did the same thing. I used one of those crossfit type jumpropes, cut it down to size, then attached a larger eye-bolt to the end. I can add as many nuts as I want to make it heavier or lighter. Super easy and super cheap. My all in was less than $20.

Yes. In your case the exercises from this video will probably not help you since the root of your problem comes from your spine, not the foot itself.

How long should each phase last? Also, how long does it take for this kind of injury to heal?
@doctorenzoyeh9 күн бұрын
Acute phase of the injury is typically in the first week of the injury. If there is continued swelling past 1 week, this phase could be longer. The ROM phase is within the first month of the injury. The strengthening could start 2-3 weeks after the injury and take up to 6-8 weeks.

Yes you pull the exercise band to feel the resistance. Yes you lay on the foam roller. If it’s not centered you would probably fall off of it.

so will the wrist heal properly in the meantime? do you have to remove it and do wrist stretches to fully heal the wrist? or will it do it on its own?
@doctorenzoyeh5 ай бұрын
First I would recommend paying a visit to your local physical therapist/physiotherapist for an evaluation. To answer your question, this is not restrictive brace so you don’t have to always remove it for stretching the wrist. If you do stretch without the wrist widget, jus take sure to stretch within pain-free range of motion. If you move the wrist daily within pain-free range, it should slowly heal over time.

Hey your channel is underrated. Thank you for the videos. Is it possible to cure ulnar nerve popping outside of the elbow? Ulnar nerve subluxation or something similar. Can you tell me if you can do something for it or is surgery the only option?
@doctorenzoyeh6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your compliment! Unfortunately I’m not an expert on your injury. There isn’t much that I know about ulnar nerve injuries. The most I deal with is ulnar nerve impingement, which happens when the ulnar nerve gets stuck under a ligament. What you are describing sounds like the opposite so it’s outside of my expertise!

Hi Doctor, thanks for your review! If you are interested, I’d love to hear your perspective on the full gamut of Ripstick exercises. Is it still only the deltoids are taking stress in those exercises? Many thanks.
@doctorenzoyeh6 ай бұрын
The deltoid are always activated with Ripstick exercises. There is also an exercise that workout the biceps and triceps. If you do squats while doing the deltoid workout, you could also workout your quads. You could activate a lot of other muscles, but the deltoid is always going to be the most stressed when you use this.

Is it good for elderly people to use electric heat mat daily for an hour
@doctorenzoyeh8 ай бұрын
Usually Heat therapy is recommended for 15-20 minutes at a time. To get the most benefit, you should let your body cool down after 20 minutes, cool for 5-10 minutes, before repeating the use of Heat therapy. It also depends on what condition you have so you should ask your local physical therapist or physiotherapist for recommendations.
