This Number 3 son remembers hacking down 10 acres of sugar cane left by the Waimanalo Sugar Plantation. How naive we were. After two rows, we realize the futility of clearing 10 acres, so we hired a bulldozer to finish the job. Our first crop was tomatoes with water provided by the flume system of the plantation. The water came from Maunawili. This was in 1948. Our one room farmhouse had no water and no electricity. My chore at the end of the day was to fill milk cans with water from the Waimanalo Beach Pavilion. Only my father stayed their. We commuted from our home in Kalihi Kat.

Thanks for this helpful video, do they allow any calculator and also when giving online exam how do they provide you your Real Estate license. As I have heard if you give the exam at test center and if you pass they give the certificate immediately after the exam

You’re welcome. They provide a calculator within the PSI exam. When you complete your exam, before the entire psi exam shuts down, they tell you right away if you passed or not, then you get an email of the results.

You don’t get licensed right away after passing exam. After passing exam, they will email you instructions on how to apply for your license within your state.

Good question. I believe they will know if you opened up another window to google the answers. I never tried it nor would I risk it, it’s better to honesty take the exam without cheating. the PSI exam is the only window that should be up.

Passing the Real estate test is when you hard, if you can’t study or you don't have time for your studies l'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Willard

I wish this was still accurate! The quality of the PSI exam experience has gone downhill in one year. I was completely prepared for the in depth admissions process and researched the regulations through the Hawai‘i REC and the little info PSI provides. Psi outsources to India or Pakistan now and there is a language barrier. Very poor written language skills and difficult to understand what the proctors are asking. Each proctor makes up their own version of the regulations. Hawaii Real estate commission allows a handheld battery operated calculator,because you are calculating in depth math problems. During all my attempts to log on to test, i had 7 different proctors. 2 of them understood hand held calculator was acceptable. 4 said to use the on screen calculator. And one ended my test after i completed 57 of 80 questions because i was using calculator to compute closing costs! I hope others file complaints with the real estate commission in Honolulu as well if they get this treatment.

Hello, I believe there is no program to download. 30 mins before your test time, it's best to run a computer check through the exam website to make sure your computer is compatible with taking the exam.

lol, it's funny because that's what I was doing. Then I was thinking out loud (talking to myself). Trying to figure out what was the best answer for a specific question. Then I got a message to not move my mouth so much 😅maybe you can move your mouth, just not so often as they'd like you to. I know, I thought it was weird too. I still took and passed the exam though.

Aww sis don't worry, it's normal to feel stressed! Especially if it's your first time. Usually you get better and familiar 2nd and 3rd time around. And it's okay to retake it. My first time was going to town and still during covid time (2021), so we HAD to wear our mask. It was difficult for me, couldn't concentrate and the mask made it hard for me to concentrate. I wanted to make it worth while taking the test as going into town is quite the drive. But I failed miserably, and I was really hard on myself for that. Waited in 2022, decided to take it remotely, it was easier, convenient, didn't need to drive, took it in the comfort of my own home, as long as everything goes through from your computer and the room your taking the exam in, then everything is easier. Passed both portions via remotely. If you can do it remotely, I recommend it. But it's all preference too. Good luck sis, praying for you. You got this!
