Mine was Butterscotch. I stripped the wheels, painted them gloss black, made the center chrome and kept the chrome trim rings. Wish I had it today.

I used have one a different rear light system and no spoiler same good and motor but front end had the hide away lights not the exposed ones. I only paid $800 for it back in 1982 it's incredible what they're costing now.

A beauty Bob. Remember our high school days when both of us went to Harper Woods High when these muscle cars were all over, and even my dad had that 68 Charger R/T 440 when I was 14, and was driving it when I turned 16. Many of us had these muscle cars in 1970, and later. Even after graduation in 72 they were banging all over the place. Mopar forever!

I had a 71 with the 383 in it. 3 in the floor, air grabber, hidden headlights. That was a fun car. Wish I still had it. Nice car!

I retract my previous statement. It seems R/T tail lights came with body-colored bumpers on Super Bees. Havent had anyone confirm this, just a common trend ive noticed

most of the vehicles i own are fords but my dream car is a 71 charger with the 440, I still love my fords but am also glad ford isnt owned by the italians ; )

Yeah, whats up with the R/T tail lights? I mean, i like them better than the Super Bee tail lights, but why not keep it original?

Nice job in taking off the vinyl top. I'm replacing mine right now and it is costing me 5k with all the rust underneath! Also, wish you had the Magnum 500 wheels, but still a beauty of a car!

I took my driver license test in a Super Bee with a 383 magnum; I was 16. And I passed! I was lucky to have cousins who were in to hot cars. ;)

@RunkkaajaApina Not to be a dick, but they used the 69, not the 68. I love the 68 because of it's rear end lights. I also love the 72 Chargers :D

@gunhawk22 Unfortunately he passed away about 10 years ago, but yes he was a very wise person, and he had an incredible memory. He filled us in on lots of stuff about our old relatives, that we otherwise would never have known. The car is currently being restored back to original condition. I will post a vid of it when I get to see it (cousins now own the car) Take care.
