I haven't been able to get a single epub book to load. I test them to make sure they're formatted by opening in other apps with no issues but when I try to open in Bible Works 10, it flashes a dialog box I can't see and then fails to load.

THis is way to tedious if you're someone who has hundreds of books. There should be a simpler way to mass select books and add them to categories.

There is a simpler way, Follow either part A or B below pending on your situation, then follow part C A. If all the books you want to categorise are in a list one after the other: Click the top book (from the list you want to clear tags from and re-categorise.) Hold "shift" on your keyboard Click the bottom book from the list you want to clear tags from and re-categorise Release "shift" B. If all the books you want to categorise are spread out, hold "ctrl" manually select each book by clicking it release "ctrl" C. Right click any of the highlighted books Hover the cursor over "Edit metadata" Click "Edit metadata in bulk" In the row "add tags" click the "clear all" button at the right hand side Click "apply" The window will pop up again, click "ok" Now all tags are cleared from the selected books Now right click anywhere in the highlighted list again, Hover the cursor over "Edit metadata" Click "Edit metadata in bulk" Type your new tag in the "add tags" row or select a pre existing one from your list Click "apply" The window will pop up again, click "ok" And you're done :)
