Hi Craig! Your dumpster score is outstanding! I loved the story in one of your earlier videos. That’s a great Heart album. Very nice REO Japanese press High Infidelity is the one I go to. I was in grade 8 when that was released. Loved it then, same as today. It’s their peak in my opinion. Wango tango is a fun song! ✌️

Great entry, Craig! We are on the same page with some artists here (Jelly Roll), and most definitely KISS. That's an excellent concert story, and I saw them live a number of times myself over the years. Loverboy = Respect! 😎🎶

Hey Craig! Still blows my mind you got those out of a dumpster. The last 2 songs on side 2 are the best of REO. Big drop off for Ted when that came out. he hit his peak with the Self-titled, Free for All, and Cat Scratch Fever. Interesting to hear you take on albums that have been in my life since they were released. Cheers!
@TheSpiritofVinyl7 күн бұрын
I have free for all, but I played it right away and it's great I've listened to it several times. I'm still not sure how I feel about REO I have 3 other albums by them 2 of which are on the never been played list, so I'll know more in the future.

Enjoying old new (to me) is what I do most! Lol! Thank God there are so many I didn't listen to, because now that I don't care for much new music, I just look for old stuff. I'm with you about Journey. I don't dislike them, but I don't seek out any of their lp's...maybe if I see one (aside from the huge "Escape") in a cheap bin. I recall that one being pretty good though. Good stuff man. Enjoy the spinning. Cheers bud! 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

Hi Craig! Loved the Tennessee answer. Egypt! I am not a global traveler but that would be on my list if I was. However, I was in Amsterdam & Venice on a business trip in /05. I found spare time for fun. I am with you on that Jellyroll guy. I have a good friend who hates Queen too. No matter how many hits on the old peace pipe, I never understood Frank Zappa. Patty likes a lot of new country including Miranda Lambert. Howie Long! Awesome. He was a good action movie star in a movie or two after football, and before being an NFL commentator. Broken Arrow with John Travolta is a fun movie. Second row center for KISS. That’s a really good story. The general admission experience was cool too. I have my original copy of that Loverboy album. We’re about the same age Craig. Zeppelin 2 is a perfect choice. ✌️

Hey Craig. Rock on! That Loverboy album is great. You don't see it too often in the VC unless it's from a Canadian channel. Good luck in the contest. Cheers, Darryl.

Happy belated birthday Craig! Hey the Gene Autry record will be a nice collectible. I live in a small town but way back in the day there was a small toy manufacturing company that made Gene Autry toy pistols. I remember my dad telling me when he was a kid Gene came to the factory one time for publicity. Had a horse and everything. Obviously that was a loooong time ago. Nashville Pussy is a band I’ve always been curious about but never really listened to. Got to stream some before buying any physical stuff. Wow that is a really cool Divinyls album! Nice Who. I just picked up that J Geils this last year. Patti Smith is a keeper. I gotta pick up that Ratt on vinyl. Great stuff Craig! Cheers

Yeah, I'm happy with all the pickups I got, The Divinyls album is great, and I think the radio station notes add a little bit to the copies history for sure. Happy New Year Craig! Holidays are a crazy time...usually (and hopefully) in a good festive way. Great blind buys. We seem to share a very similar philosophy on blind buys. I usually don't buy (especially on vinyl due to cost) but rather I stream if curious of a band or artist. Usually because someone in the vc has shown it. Back in the day though, I think it was more likely...but even with that, I can only think of a couple off the top. Good stuff man. Cheers bud! 🍻✌️🤘🎶🤘

Nice! Death is local for us. My old metal band played with them a few times in 87/88 at the Sunset Club in Tampa. In fact our bass player Scott did some overdubs on Human and toured the album in 1991. Chuck was nothing like you'd think based on his singing voice, total mellow, laid-back guy, spoke like a surfer dude. Such a sad thing when he passed.
