Been here many times but never got to tour the underground tunnels. Very short video but fascinating, thank you.

The same here as well. I signed up with an organization that puts on tours at very interesting locations. Usually not available too the public. Indeed this was cool as well a freakish in a way entering these locations around the building. The tunnel was the best. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@NYCTraveler wow awesome i was actually on the phone earlier today talking to a park ranger. We were discussing something I found by Jamaica bay. He has no clue what it is and he has searched and asked around to no avail. Its some tracks that do into the bay’s waters.

@@NYCTraveler that was the children's book that my mother read to me. Crazy to think how much time has passed. I had an obsession with that lighthouse, WTC and Chrysler Building. My father also used to bring me to the observation deck on the south tower. Such fond memories, thank you for the post.

For that reason I sought out to document things around NYC for me and my children as well as the world. Thanks again for watching this video and the kind words. Be well. Your video totally made my day! I live in the South West now, but for 9 years lived at 106th street and West End Avenue when I was a student at Columbia University. One of my biggest life regrets is that I did not know about Roerich or this museum when I lived round around the corner and could have visited as often as I wanted! It's now at the top of my list of where I will go when I have a chance to go back to New York... but in the meantime, I am deeply grateful for the lovely little tour you facilitated. Thank you 🙏
