This was a great effort, but I looked watching it, beautiful countryside and wonderful single roads. Would love to see a Cumbrian version of North Coast 500 with many of these roads (plus Barrow) included - ahh, wonderful...

Excellent - I would have requested this - Roa Island would be similar to say Inverie or Applicross in term of isolation yet wonderful evident community. If I drove and lived up North, Roa Island is as good as it gets...

Sorry about the delay, good effort. Just missing the B5289 which takes you over Honister Pass and then on to Keswick and then back on to the A591.

With the help of both Google Maps and Google Images I worked out the route as A593 A591 B5287 A591 A66 B5292 A591 A5271 A591 (not all roads worked out) Skelwith Bridge to Ambleside via Grasmere, Keswick, Honister Pass and Keswick

Being from Barrow, I enjoyed the drive but wished slower driving in order to see road signs…just not sure where I was…

Sorry about that, if you click on the setting cog you can slow it down .75 of the normal speed. glad you enjoyed my filming though and thankyou for posting.
