Great idea, but I can absolutely see the "seams" on the large display despite the fact that _I have vision problems_ and I'm looking at a video on a small screen, so I can only image that those seams are really distracting in person.

Micro led is cool but at $100k+ it may as well not exist. Pioneer made a 153" 4k plasma in 2010. That was cool too... but at $500k nobody got to find out. When they can sell a 150" TV for less than $10k... that will be a breakthrough and will finally be useful as a projector replacement.

I don't understand how does the filter enhance brightness? Can you applied on top of your smartphone screen like a screen protector and it will increase brightness? How much is the brightness increase?

I hope they build/license regional factories throughout the world because this is the everyperson car the world needs for 99.9% of our driving. We only really need a full-sized, full-powered vehicle for the rare out of town highway trips that we take like 1-2 times per year max... Otherwise, going to work, school, getting groceries is fine in something like this or a Smart Fortwo. And believe me in a city you want as small a car as possible which is why this Fortwo driver would love to own a Microlino or even a Wuling Cabrio!

If this guy is not talking out of his ass on target price per tile (comparable to oled TV) than their goal is pretty insane. Like I can't even imagine how much of this they would need to manufacture and sell to get anywhere close to OLED TV pricing.

I am sure this can be used for good in the medical world, being a good quick way to gather health data about a patient, but this could be easily weaponized against a lot of people if combined with a drone with a bit of AI. It could be used to measure a large area for heart beats, and then direct a drone to go and investigate/attack it. Kind of horrifying, honestly. Like most things, its not inherently good or bad, its how you use the tool.

Coated Matte displays destroy true colour transparency and kill the added dimensional depth and clarity that a pure gloss screen has to offer. I believe the chemically treeted un-balancing light distortion matt displays where intended for long term business use and where never intended for home entertainment purposes. (if you can not see yourself crystal clear through a turned off led (tv) screen i would recommend never to use or to buy one. (GOOGLE) Matte monitors employ plastic surfaces made of different polymers that undergo an etching process. Either chemical or mechanical, the etching creates an enormous number of grooves or indentations in the screen surface. These serve to reduce reflectivity by scattering light that hits the monitor. (WARNING) this added matte etching slits and channeling out millions of tiny grooves onto a clear screen for light distortion can lead to serious eye strain and mental health issues.) why are almost all affordable led televisions in bedded with distortion matte finishings without ever clearly being advertised as such. i wonder.

I would very much like to use an e-ink screen for sheet music reading, but I still find the refresh rate to slow for quick page turns and also I get ghost images if in quick refresh. Hopefully this will improve soon.
