If you drive a dragster you just know the feeling of waiting and waiting at the line for your dad to get the engine etc ready 😂

Don't know why I am just now seeing this...... Thank you! Tuning is a small part of it - Got to have a great driver behind the wheel. I couldn't be more proud of this young man that I get to call me son and how well he performed this season. We are almost ready to start the 2023 season which looks to be our final ride in the junior classes. Concentrating on having fun, and just racing this year vs chasing the points. Hope you and the family are doing well.

We used the regular mount and stuck it to the chin portion of the helmet. Leaving enough space for the visor to open / close. The other mount attaches to the rear wing bolt.... it's billet, and bought off Amazon or Ebay

Buy a boat and go fishing... lol Just kidding... reaction time plays a huge role in bracket racing. Learning the tree, and being able to judge the finish line. Other than that... practice, practice, practice. Keep good data pass after pass, including weather data. Make adjustments one thing at a time. Buy new parts vs used when ever you can, Always respect and appreciate the crewchief! Pay attention to how the car feels, sounds, and be able to communicate that to the tuner. Most importantly... BE SAFE & HAVE FUN!

Just asking & wondering what size engines are in these Dragster's and what's the limit on engine size 🏁 😈☠👍✌✌
@AlsipRacingandOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
All the motors ( IHRA / NHRA ) competition & points racing are built off the single cylinder briggs motors. Most are anywhere from 2 3/4 to 3 3/4in pistons and you run in a certain class according to the drivers age.
@AlsipRacingandOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
Ours is a 3.5in piston 42mm carb 4 stage header Runs on Methanol Approx 500lb package (80lbs extra weight) we run 7.95-8.05 @ 80 - 84 mph pending weather / track. Estimated to have approx 55-60hp
