I managed to see some of the pictures of the inside of the museum, by using Google, it must have been amazing to see it in person. I really liked the covered wagon, and the seats in the trolley. Gary is very good at describing what he saw, a natural raconteur.

Thank you very much. He did do a good job at describing what we saw... and it pleased him no end to read what you said. ♥ It was a very amazing place to visit and we both highly recommend it to anyone going to Moose Jaw.

Take extra good care of yourselves. Im living out of my car at almost 60..sitting too long isnt good..i know nothing about rvs so i cant do those and they are very restrictive down here in metro nw atlanta. Its hard. But dont give up! Its ridiculous what happens to elderly people now. Its shameful. Dont worry that card with photos will turn up..check pockets. Everything gets moved constantly whem you are always in the same vehicle but the stuff has to be shifted aroumd constantly. I battle that often. Keep on keepin on! 🙏❤️🤗

Thank you... and welcome! ♥ Yes, living like this is not easy and different places have different rules, for sure. Sorry yours are tough! At least it's warm where you are. We've been cold this winter... -30C, which is -22F. But we have a furnace that works well, so it's not been too bad. As for those photos... the card got corrupted somehow, so they're gone. But I know what you mean by having things get moved around a lot when living in a small area. We wish for good things to come into your life in 2025. ♥

Until you mentioned it, I wouldn't have believed that stress can affect the body so much. That probably explains why my body doesn't hurt as much when I am practicing with the band. I can stand for an hour, but when it comes to doing household work, 15 minutes max.
@2CraftySeniors-24 күн бұрын
Hello Dear Friend! ♥ Yes... Stress can literally kill you if you don't notice it happening. It is probably partly why you can stand for so long when you're doing something you enjoy (much less stress) and not when you're doing something you "have" to do (much more stress). ♥ Did you know that housework is one of the most difficult and "hard on the body" things we do? I learned that when I was a professional caregiver. Vacuuming in particular is very hard on the body, stressing and straining your back in particular. Cooking is also not easy on your body... stretching, straining, fetching, chopping... all the various movements that it takes to make a meal. ♥ You definitely have to take more breaks with housework as you get older and the body weakens. ♥

Hi! ♥ It's actually a very cute little thing. The printer has attracted a few people to the booth to see what it is or what it's making. This makes me sad. I live in Michigan, USA and I live in government housing on Lake Michigan. It's a wonderful place !! No one makes too much income here. There is a top rent (about $650.00) for people with higher income (retired military etc). I live on social security and pay $500. Our heat is subsidized. It's just wonderful. I had to wait several months to get in because there is always a waiting list. I don't know if this will help anyone but there are places like this. I've been here 3 years and it's a lovely place.

Hello and Welcome! It is heart-warming to hear about places like this. We've travelled over 3,000 km (about 1,800 miles) across Canada and haven't seen anything like what you have yet. Wait! Finish the sentence. Cars today have 20 computers in them which are designed to....what?! Our cars are our greatest expense. We could have put a down payment on a house for what car repairs cost us in 2024! It's those computers. Little bitty parts that can cause the entire engine to stop. It's a racket I tell you. Anyway, new subscriber here, and will try to catch up on your journey. Love your paper crafts. Blessings to you both.

Hello! Nice to see a face again. The internet was down in our neighbourhood, so I couldn't see if you had a video up. Yes, it's about all a person can do these days, is to make the best of whatever situation they are in. Especially hard for a senior when the rents are more than a pension, so a person does what they can, and I think that you chose well.

When I saw the Kleenex box, I was reminded of the "old days", when boxes were generally recycled into something else. Cigarette boxes were glued together and made into a pyramid to store things like safety pins, thumb tacks, paper clips, stamps, etc. Wooden apple boxes became nightstands, and I remember making a footstool in class out of a cube-shaped box. Do you know what would have been in them originally?
@2CraftySeniors-2Ай бұрын
I don't know, actually. I remember making a footstool that was more rectangle for me. I wonder if we had to bring our own boxes. I just can't remember. It's been a few years. LOL Mine had a gathered skirt on it and I remember it was hard for me to get it more or less straight. ♥
