Wow. I currently work in financial crimes compliance with a lot of transferable skills to cybersecurity. I have been exploring this field for a while. I can’t believe this showed in my recommendations. Thank you God! ❤

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?

Sometimes the issue is forgetting. I wish there was an unbreakable platform to host all passwords
@TheCyberSecMigrant16 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, we have to remain pro-active as threat actors don't rest on their oars. A Password Manager still remains one of the best ways today to manage your passwords. Some even have the ability to update your passwords periodically on a set cadence! But with Passwords Managers, you must guard your master password very very zealously!

People need to stay the hell out of our country can’t they see we have had enough and immigrants have destroyed us.. FFS what do they not understand about HOUSING CRISIS and god damed food price. Ever think it’s because we know how to run a country and they don’t ,and that’s why you people have come over here with your crap Ways and now are dirtying up our culture.

Thanks for sharing these tips. Please share a bit more about what to do whan a close friend or someone with my personal information gets hacked.
@TheCyberSecMigrant Жыл бұрын
@femiadewuyi1917 while we are not able to control how others protect their information, we can protect how our information gets accessed. For example, if someone contacts you via WhatsApp pretending to be a close friend, and maybe asking for money or asking you to send them a code you received, verify with that friend through an alternative channel. You can call them on a different number, call someone who is in direct contact with them, or similar and verify that they are indeed asking you for money or the code. Like we say in the industry: zero trust until verified.

A roadmap at the moment is going to really help us.There is of course a lot of videos but it is overwhelming.Dont know what next after the cc certification.@@TheCyberSecMigrant
@TMGMEDIAGH Жыл бұрын
i am not sure the cc will be enough for an entry role.i also hear people talk about booking for exam at pearson vue and all that so kind of confusing.If you can can be utube mentor i personally would appreciate it and i know others too will.Some of us alos have intentions of relocating and so the entire navigation will be will be very helpful.This could be a series

While the CC certification certainly helps, and the road can seem daunting, the first step is always the hardest. So take that first step and get the CC certification. Once you have that under your belt, next step will be look for opportunities to get our feet wet, either by online labs like you find on TryHackMe or HackTheBox, or an internship where you can be exposed to daily life iin Cybersecurity. That will go a long way in improving your skills.
