They’ll be back somehow once option 1 of the R211A order is up, pushing R160’s off Jamaica via the R211’s meaning you’d have R160 B and Q trains, I do miss them too back then

This station is on a section which connects ONLY the express tracks of the Eighth and Fulton lines. The local tracks end at WTC and Court St (which is currently the NY Transit Museum), respectively. However, C (local) trains merge onto the express tracks via crossovers that were originally installed for backups and reroutes and are shared with the A (express) on this section. This is why A and C trains share tracks in the Cranberry Tunnel.

This 8 car set was a loan from ENY while the M was cut back to 57th. Once the M goes back on it's regular route to Queens, it needs the set again for there to be enough service.

There was R179’s further in the video but I only taken photos of it. The reason why J/Z trains barely had R179s is because ENY Transferred most of their R179’s to 207th Street Yard during the M to 57th Street G.O (which is why R160’s popped in the C on that moment). This will shortly end soon tho.

It’s quite simple, The propulsions. And the R188’s look similar to the R142A’s but with CBTC enhancements placed. It’s usually the easiest for most to tell.

Why is that L stick in the station
