Hey I purchased the XS in the Pajama Lounge Dress in store!!! I personally think the dress seems to have a more slim fit to the Pajama Lounge Dress...The Small wasn't that much bigger compared to XS I would say give it a try in the Large if anything it would be a little more baggy but it's not overly big where your going to be wrapped up the lounge dress flows very nicel!!. The fabric is wonderful even after a few washes... If a medium for instance was only available I would of probably of bought it... If it was overly big I would say not to buy it, but personally seems not to be too long as well.. It's a perfect fit so Yes go for it!!! I just love Superstar Barbie!!! Let me know what you decide and how it fits!!! Good Luck!!!
