Make sure to insist to keeping your table after paying for your drink there. Some vendors are trying to squeeze more people in at the last moment and ask you to share a table 😅

hi! we were sitting at rivercity mall. we bought the tickets online a few weeks before new year's eve. after the fireworks, we walked to hua lamphong mrt station for more or less 15,imutes back to our hotel.

@ i've read in reviews that it's a struggle to get a good view in iconsiam coz all the best areas are either exorbitantly priced or fenced off for VIP's. plus you're very near the fireworks, it looks much better from a distance, in my opinion. i bought the tickets from the rivercity website under events tab for 500baht per pax on the 1st week of december. when we went to rivercity on the 31st at around 5pm, some tickets were also sold at reception but were sold out quite fast.

@ saphan taksin bridge is also an alternative but u have to be there quite early, and its free. but just check coz there might be changes.

we went there first week of june 2024. on top of the mountain, the temperature was pleasant. for us though, no need for layers.. but i'm not sure about the temperature in february. the place being in the south of vietnam, so i guess it never really gets that cold. enjoy your trip! the place is very nice!

@@moonlover8219 the tour we purchased included the 2 roundtrip cable car tickets (mountain and hang pagoda), a buffet lunch and roundtrip transfers from independence palace in ho chi minh to tay ninh and vice-versa. very convenient as it included everything already. cost was around USD43.00 per person. we chose the hang pagoda + mountain peak + lunch + shuttle bus option. www.klook.com/activity/44561-ba-den-cable-car-ticket-in-tay-ninh/

you're welcome! We did not join a tour. prior to arrival, we coordinated with our hotel for transportation arrangements. We visited 4 places (choui fong tea plantation, tham luang cave, mae sai skywalk and golden triangle) and was charged BHT1500.00 good for 8hrs. You can also use GRAB and they can take you to the places mentioned at more or less the same price, some even cheaper.

@@simonyeo20 hi! from the city center to the resort, i just booked it thru grab. then i just arranged with the same driver to pick us up upon check-out as it might be harder to book from resort to city. the resort also can arrange transportation but it's quite expensive.
