What would we have done without artist like Denver. His songs breathed such an enthusiasm in me when I was young. 👍

I was stationed near to MT. Rainer at Ft. Lewis I was always in awe gazing up on that majestic mountain found it so beautiful with its evergreen forest. Maybe someday I’ll return for a visit.

I consider myself a pretty good singer. On my best day, no way could I come close to John Denver's ability. He was in his own league.

I wonder what the balloons are made of because it appears that the fabric is somewhat flame resistant or even flame proof. Thank you for the very interesting videos that you produce.

@@kenclark9888 Okay, they picked the wrong mountains for the song. But in the end it doesn't matter. JD loved all nature and I am sure he would have loved the grandeur shown in this video, Peace! ps. I went to Aspen from Australia last year to pay my respects to this great man. The Rockies are indeed beautiful.

Camp in your backyard. It will give you more solitude. Camping in Wallowa isn’t really what you want when you go camping. No privacy and no peace and quiet with all that people. This is more like a trailer park

That wasn't Elgin - probably Wallowa. Elgin is before the part where you were driving by the river.

Got to spend time working at the park in the winter way back in the 80s it was a place that you could feel the energy of the lake being very different than anyplace I've ever spent time at . There were no other people besides a few other forestry workers Hope they fixed the freezing showers ! We also had a war with a very roudy bunch of racoons who regularly destroyed the small house we were using ! Nothimg says relaxing like after a long hard working day like a cold shower and a huge mess some racoons left you to clean up everday after work . But still was a amazing place and experience.

Yea there is hot water now and I didn’t see any raccoons but the deers will eat anything you leave out!
