Are there plans for this anywhere?

Great and simple design. I'm keen to copy it in steel as that's what I'm ok with. You've obviously had it working a while now, can I ask what the wear is like on the strimmer plastic and rubber matting?

How does this have so few likes? this is one of the cleanest looking models yet! Great work and thanks for sharing! planning for harvest next year so looking forward to building something like this

Maybe if it had a fan blowing upward and out a vent at the top you would t need to winnow it.

Ive got great metal skills but no sir, your wooden design is terrific! Probably more gentle to the grain with the give and quieter than rattling steel. Looks great too. Now to get some plywood...

Great to see a buld that doesnt use a welder, thanks for sharing!

Do you have plan's, what diameter of pulleys do you use and size of the motor? Thanks great idea, great video.

I Do not get where the Grain is going?? Is it in the shredded Mix? If yes how do you separate? If you explained in the Video, dont blame me i am not a native.

I love that it is finger friendly as i am looking forward to Do this with my Kids. However my husband is a mechanic and i will force him to build one out of metal but with the fingerfriendly Part. Will Post results...

It’s in the bin with the chaff. After threshing ( video)’ you have to separate seed from the chaff by winnowing.

What is the rated RPM of the motor Sir ?

Too many fingers eaten by treshers using this design. My cousin lost ring finger and in the process could not work for 6 months.

Great idea. How did you attach the metal rod to the brackets that are screwed to the inner wooden cylinder ends? Are they welded?
@kirkwaln32183 жыл бұрын
Braised. With a plumbers torch and a camp stove. Lit the stove, put the bracket/rod (one end at a time) on the stove and used the torch to get to the temperature quickly. Might have been overkill.
@nonyadamnbusiness98873 жыл бұрын
Set that on top of a sieve with a box fan blowing through it and you have a full fledged thresher.
@MadebyKourmoulis3 жыл бұрын
That is awesome. I'm definitely going to rip off your design.
@kirkwaln32183 жыл бұрын
Please do! Post a video if you think of it, I'm always looking for ways to improve on the design.

Do you have the plans for this threshing machine? If so anyway to acquire them from you?
@kirkwaln32183 жыл бұрын
Sorry, no. I've never tried to draw-up plans.
@jeffbakanovic0573 жыл бұрын
That's a shame. I have seen many post of people looking for plans. Lots of ideas out there just no designs to follow. Anyway you could share some rough dimensions (diameter & length), size of pulleys, length of the weed eating string?
