Ever since the 1980s, I have always been curious to see this movie in its entirety. I remember calling videos stores in the 1980s and 90s to ask if they had it, but none ever did. Then as soon as I got Netflix DVDs (circa 2006), one of the first things I did was look for this movie - and I was able to put it on my "Saved" list, but it stayed there until Netflix stopped offering DVDs in September 2023. And still today, I can't find this movie in its entirety on KZbin or anywhere else online.

BTW, I adored this scene. I think it is because they look like a bunch of wizards giving court or something. A very chill and funny scene also.

I still remember I (stupidly) went to watch The Island of Dr. Moreau back in 1997 when I was 17 years old, and this trailer played before the movie. Couple of younger guys sitting behind me. When they showed this trailer the one guy was like "DAMN" 😂

After their "Love Gun" album release in 1977, it was ALL DOWNHILL from there. They went from being a "rock band" to some stereotypical Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning kid's cartoon parody version of themselves. Pow, flash, wizz, bang, superhero powers, action figure toys, school notebooks, lunchboxes, bubblegum cards, posters, halloween costumes, NBC Movie Of The Week, transistor radios, hell.....write'em into an episode of Scooby-Doo or SuperFriends, it'll be a SMASH. 😂😂

When they first showed this, I recorded the soundtrack by propping a tape recorder up against the TV speaker. I listened to that stupid tape probably fifty times. No VCRs back in those days (well, I guess some people had 'em, but they were crazy expensive), so we had to improvise. Even as a kid and the world's biggest KISS fan, though, I knew this movie was pretty bad. Paul's acting is painful, mostly because you can really see him trying.
