... Dr.Syam is an English academician...? Right...? In this video, one girl asked a qtn in English, bcos she might understand English better than Malayalam. It's OK.... But, unfortunately, Dr.Syam answered in Malayalam....? !!! Sir, you don't want that person to understand your views...?? Or, you aren’t confident to speak in English...??

Dr C T Indra has added her clarifications on ' The Second Coming' ,thus: The falcon may symbolize man in general losing contol of himself , the people and the leaders in Europe between the two World Wars moving away and farther from all values cherished hitherto by the Christian civilization which has lasted for 20 centuries. The Falconer could be , God, religion , Christ , or in general,man's spiritual being,the atma, regulating his life. Now the falcon is moving farther and farther in a widening gyre, symbolising order superseded by anarchy .That is how Yeats visualizes the large historical and religious canvas unfolding before him in the poem THE SECOND COMING .The poem envisions a world threatened by fascist tendencies in individuals and in societies at large and hence a century after it was composed it still speaks to us with a sense of great urgency and relevance.
