I played every game on the list - and I share your suggestion as GTA-like great open world games! I also played the whole Yakuza series and I would prefer to play 'Yakuza Kiwami' (="Yakuza 1 Remake") at first, if you don't know the series at all. "Yakuza 0" is the prequel to the main story of Kiryu Kazuma and was released after Yakuza V (with many cross references to Yakuza 1-5 you surely miss). I know, it sounds like the Star Wars question ("Begin with Episode IV or Episode I..?"), but I think with Yakzua 1 you get introduced perfectly into the whole universe of Ryu Ga Gotoku. BTW: The both Kiwami/Remakes of Yakuza 1 and 2 were build with the same engine as Yakuza 0 (because they were originally PS2 games!). So the graphics are the same quality, just some newer game mechanics are missing. Yakuza 3-5 are visually older (originally PS3 and then remastered to PS4 level, not remade like 1 & 2), but also very worthwhile playing if you like the story and humor of the series). And if you want to see the ending of the "big story", you have to play Yakuza 6, the last title that ends the Kiryu Saga.

The Witcher 3 has the best open world, alive and independent of the player. Villages vary in wealth, with elements like community, religion, kingdoms, and battlefields adding depth. I understand why you'd rank squad higher than arma 3. Squad is obviously a better and smoother looking game. As for Escape from Tarkov, it's really unrealistic on some points. Balancing is kinda bad for a MILSIM game, as it makes it less realistic. Recoil being one of those things, as it is abysmal. In no situation would you have THAT much vertical recoil as in EFT.

Days Gone is easily the best OW Zombie games made,once the bugs were fixed it's the most immersive game to play and is much better then TLOU 1 & 2 as the open world and use of riding a bike along with the sheer amount of survival tactics you need to employ makes this game the best I've played, hopefully Days Gone 2 becomes a reality as it's well deserved 👌🏻👍🏻

For me personally, the top 3 Stealth franchises of all time are: 1.Hitman 2.Splinter Cell 3.Dishonored And i'm using franchise as a whole, while yes there were some blemishes on an otherwise perfect slate of games (Hitman Absolution or Splinter Cell Conviction) Overall the franchise is perfectly intact
