Important point: A front fiberglass cap has one major very important function, preventing water ingress points. But note in RV manufacturers that do it right all wrapped 2” - 4” around the sides and top. Using a fiberglass front cap like outdoors RV does is ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS, as it does nothing to prevent water intrusion. Outdoors RV uses leading edge corners like every cheap RV company does. Imagine a pressure washer spraying at the corners as you drive 60 mph in a storm. ⛈️

@GOATbro_Australia2 күн бұрын
@TeaHeart93 I had an issue with the 3 point hydronic adjustment. It would not lower. Dealer came out and got it working. No issues since. I have the hydro transmission. It's difficult to shift between ranges, but seems to be getting better. That's my biggest gripe.

Do you know what size battery you use for engine start up??
@GOATbro_Australia4 күн бұрын
@rodneyrussell7325 I don't know exactly. I did remove the panel where it's located once, and it is a small 12 volt battery. It's lead acid and probably similar to a small car battery. Once it reaches the end of its useful life. I might install a small lithium replacement. The battery is on a full time trickle charge, and I have not had any issues with it. The generator starts up very quickly. Hope that helps

@GOATbro_Australia5 күн бұрын
@AdventureJournal232 I have not had any further issues. The 3 point adjustment mentioned in this video does not really have a major impact on anything, so I don't really use it. I might experiment with it a bit more though now that you mentioned it and just see if it is working OK. But at 60 hours, I have not had any further issues. Hope that helps.

Hi , my gas gas 85 mc (same pwk Keihin carburetor as the KTM) is running very rich, masssive amounts of spooge out the silencer, I use it mainly for enduro at over 2000 meter elevation and temperature at around 25 c , im using a main jet 138 ,40 idle jet and dropped the needle to the very first clip to lean it out, and still the spooge is too much, im running motorex cross power at 65:1, been thinking to use a 32 idle jet, but don't know if it would lean the bike out way too much, any thoughts?
@GOATbro_Australia12 күн бұрын
I run mine at 32:1. If it was me, I would put in exactly what the owners manual says to run, including the fuel/oil mixture, then see where you are at. Just make sure you use the settings for your average temp and elevation. Once there, then my first adjustments would be air screw and needle clip position. 65:1 seems like way too lean of a mixture to me. A lean mixture like that could actually be making your bike run rich. Sounds strange, but true. Hope that helps

Good choice. If I had to do it again, I might have bought the 2250UCC instead. I bought the 2500, which for camping is the best with the galley, but it is a lot more boat and much heavier to tow. 2250UCC is a fishing machine that can easily be used anywhere.

I have a 2020 yz250 i ride at 120ft elevation and I run the stock carb no issues. I pulled the jets swapped them to 172/42/45 and my bike runs so crisp and good I can't see spending that kind of money. If you can't plug chop read a plug or work on your own bike then absolutely a smart carb is a great idea. But I am very mechanically inclined so I don't mind tinkering and I enjoy the stock carb nice bike though.
@GOATbro_Australia25 күн бұрын
@cliffordmcgraw8740 I agree with you. For me it was more of an experiment. The 125 is also known to have some carb related issues that the Smartcarb seems to address, but as you say, the stock carb is just fine once you take the time to dial it in. I ran a JD jetting kit in this bike as well, and it ran great. Thanks for watching.

Ok,for those of you who want to install the BBR shock spring WITHOUT destroying the U shaped bottom shock mount,1,remove the shock,2,use spring compressor to compress the spring till you have access to the large C clip,3,remove the C clip,4,now slide everything up to the top to access the lock nut,5,loosen the lock nut,screw it all the way to the top,6,now the important part,hold the shaft with a pair of vice grips,with a rag in the jaws to protect the shaft,now screw the U bracket UP the shaft,this will expose the threaded shaft where it is crimped to prevent removal,7,with a dremel round the end of the threaded shaft,8,now you can unscrew and remove the U bracket with out damaging it,This is what I did and it worked perfect.
