I’m seeing the video, you say there is a magazine, I would like to know how much cost this magazine, I think you said there was four numbers a years. I would like to buy this magazine, but I don’t know how much it is , should you send me? I live in Spain, you said that you only send it in EEUU, Japón and Brasil. Why not in Spain? Do you have shop online? Thank you very much. Y love lace, and I study it by myself , I buy books and read and practice again and again and again. I have Binche’s books but It’s difficult to study alone. Now I made Torchon, Book, Hinojosa, a little Duquesa. But I love Binche so much. I wait for your answer.

Jason, I think your presentation demonstrates how an assessment of impact as frequently carried out in many other sectors can be done in the cultural heritage sector too. And also how the Playbook can underpin the design of this activity. What we need as a starting point to for the Playbook to have more 'impact' in our sector, is a 'library' of such assessments.

What a privilege to have come across this 2-part series! These beautifully talented lace makers truly leave you speechless!! How could they even see the finite intricacies of their exquisitely fine lace?? Their vision had to be negatively impacted at a young age??!! I would like to have know what was the youngest age of lace makers??

is there a tutorial on how to make a pattern bigger ? longer and or wider ?? I'm sure the larger the work the more bobbins needed right ?

I would absolutely love to be able to buy pdf patterns that I can download or get emailed to print out at home (you can adjust the size if you want). There is a Klöppel shop with a big website in Germany. They have several small motifs at €2.50 that I liked so I asked how to download this once purchased. The answer was: they don't offer any charts to download, the only way you can get them is by mail. It costs €8.50 postage to get this mailed to me in the UK. Suffice to say that I won't be buying from them. I'd rather print something from the Internet and have a go myself. But I would prefer an acfual chart. Perhaps with numbers on it: where to start and how many bobbin pairs to hang at which point. I would pay good money for that, but I'm not prepared to pay for exorbitant postage. Lovely video! I enjoyed it. I would also enjoy seeing some of the practical work in close-ups.

( Fascinating that a young girl wears a sweatshirt which says "Moonchild": Moonchild was a small musical band from California who played soul/ jazz [singer was Amber Navran] The young girl's sweatshirt probably had nothing to do with the band!) This is an interesting video!

1:40's I appreciate the closeups have these looking quite large, then a camera-angle turn to show they are actually quite small -- dinner plate size -- to pack so much design, information, depiction, **and STILL have open/negative space available ..... all seen in the closeups. Then, back to seeing that they're actually quite small. Golly.

Has the Museum considered offering online learning modules? Or perhaps online live and interactive zoom events and lectures? - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi

I wish that you would make digital downloads of the patterns and sell them. 9:49 If you would make patterns available online you could make enough money to be self funding and keep the museum open.

Absolutely agree. There are multiple possibilities of places to sell the patterns at. Their own shop, an Etsy portal and maybe even an ebay option. There's a young lady who is a curator of lace at the Met - maybe they could do a collaboration. She also has started a lace guild. - Cathy (&, accidently, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown/Pimisi

Does it feel like rubber or latexy to touch?
@kireznerol5170

Not sure if you have access to a 3d-printer, but when i print tpu (flexible filament) on a standard hobby grade machine it feels like rubber. Maybe a different kind of texture can be achieved on more advanced 3d printers. I would highly recommend you to check out the KZbin channel "sew printed" if you want to find out more about 3d printed clothes and fabric. She did print 'lace' too.

Some presentations are a bit boring, particularly since they are, actually, reading sessions (the horror!) and not oral deliveries of material, which you would expect from a(n experienced) speaker invited to participate in something this big, as well as because of how those presentations do not seem to focus on the theme of the conference (i.e., storytelling), the texts including lots of chunks which are irrelevant in the context - beating about the bush, in laypeople's language; or verbosity. I would, therefore, advise more careful editing of a paper prepared for a public event and learning to deliver the content orally instead of reading it - knowing how reading has an astounding tendency to turn tedious (if done online, it will even more readily end up doing that).
