I recently scored one of these Kenwood GE-1100 EQs after years of wanting one. It's in mint condition, fully functional and with all the lights working. Most importantly, it sound great. I paid what I thought was just a bit below average price for today's prices. It really sets my setup off!

Excellent looking stereo system & setup. This JVC reminds me a lot of TECHNICS. I live the strobe lights. By the time i bought my first JVC receiver in 1986. Unfortunately I was unable to get any JVC TURNTABLES. I like this one you get an A +. Entire system priceless gems. 💎💽🔉🔉🔈🔈🔊🔊✅👍

What i will always like about FISHER is their graphic displays I fell in love with them during the 1980's with there State of art systems one in particular was among the various Amplifier's & graphic equalizers. This later introduced me to ADC extremely beautiful displays almost similar. I would love to know when this model came out ? These are a unique stereo system on this video.🔉🔉💽📀💿📼📻

Uh oh i hope your CD player is alright. I had a similar problem on mine.The tray wouldn't eject or open and all my 6 tray CD's were stuck constantly. 👍✅

Nice lighted features on this KENWOOD Graphic Equalizer, looks similar to older 1980's FISHER & also ADC Equalizers. 👍✅

This is a beautiful FISHER STEREO STUDIO STANDARD. I love the graphic equalizer in yellow slightly gold. Sounds great. Wish I had this model. When was this released ? 🤔

Have the same machine, but the single DCC tape I got with it simply doesn't output any sound. Tried recording on it. Looks like it works, but then again, I rewind, play back: zero sound. Not even a hiss. While it does play analogue cassettes without a problem (but quite poor sound quality compared to an analogue deck)

Electrolytic capacitors dry out in these devices. Find a service technician who will exchange them for new ones and I think everything will be fine. They were also replaced on this machine.

@@bobikae thanks, indeed I found that information... But apparently they don't only just dry out but start leaking acid which can severely damage the circuit boards. I may be able to replace them myself but if more is already damaged well... It was just a gift, not planning to use it myself anymore anyway. Much rather get hold of a real good analogue cassette deck, 3 head, ability to calibrate and bias adjusting etc. Not one that's sold on eBay as completely serviced and turns out to be filthy and completely worn out. 👺

This is the first time I am seeing a Philips DCC Recorder in play. Sadly the production of this format, Digital Compact Cassette, was ceased by Philips.

Why the light are not even illuminated? I have the same thing with a Technics EQ that I bought, as you csn see there are lights dimmer than the other which form horizontal lines, I think that is not normal. They should be all bright the same way

Non mettere niente sul registratore,il coperchio si graffia.perche i dolby sono operativi solo in play?,se ho un DCC 900,e devo codificare una cassetta,non si riesce a far niente,i dolby non sono operativi in rec,al di la di qualsiasi motivo ci sia,un registratore che il dolby non codifica in rec,non ha senso

Il produttore si è concentrato sul concetto di DAT (nastro audio digitale). Il suono registrato sul nastro DAT è completamente identico al CD. Non è necessaria la riduzione del rumore dolby. Come bonus, puoi riprodurre solo la cassetta MC. L'assurdità è che non comprerai un registratore DAT per riprodurre nastri classici.

@@bobikae ho delle mie cassette che ho preparato io dai cd,non cassetta dcc,cassetta standard,che sfido chiunque a dire che non e' identica al cd,il dolby lo so che non codifica la cassetta dcc ma quella standard,nell'altro commento mi riferisco alla cassetta standard.quel registratore non e' dat,ma dcc

Turntable + preamplifier and cinch cable to any input on the receiver, 7.1 channel in stereo
