Really nice build! Im tuned by migtuned also. Stock motor as was but with port injection and sti drivetrain swap, socal v4 and all the other bolt on goodies. Definitely recommended sti drivetrain before anything because the wrx trans is glass and WILL break. Better to start saving for one now and prepare for the future.

Definitely a future mod, but it has held up amazingly so far. No issues at all. As long as I keep the torque lower it should hold for what I want to make. But one day that swap will happen. And also, Migtuned for life!!✊🏽

I think most people use sti parts not because they want to make their car an sti but because the sti parts are very nice. I put an sti wing on my 23 and it looks awesome. If I wanted an sti I would have bought one.

You do know that a va Wrx Sti wing will fit a va Wrx like a glove right? You do know it’s the same chassis right.

props to this car, it's nice. i got a 2015 and don't want to be like a sti but would like a sti 6 speed transmission once i go aftermarket turbo, and no dirty mechanic touches her but me. im prepping to do my clutch and good to hear that this is a stock clutch as i was kind of regretting buying a oem replacement rather then aftermarket

These cars can do a lot of everything’s done properly. Like yeah there’s some technique involved in launching and flat footing so you don’t kill the clutch. But it’s all a learning process. I don’t think i mentioned it in the video but there was one oil line that was giving me problems and blew off twice! Ran completely out of oil in 3 seconds. Fixed it and filled it up and not a noise to be heard. These engines can handle a good bit

Now go ride in a full bolt on tuned vb wrx they can make 500 on stock motor and over 600 with head studs mine makes 390 with fmic intake catback n a tune on 93

Going for 500 soon. Stock block record for FA’s is around 650 I think. I know a few people with stock blocks and internals making around 620. Uniqueness is key in the car community nowadays, so much hate for no reason. If this video can help someone feel better about there car or inspire them to do something like this, that’s what matters

Very awesome and unique build. I would have liked to see a BRZ manifold, Front mounted IC, then the oil cooler where the TMIC was, but this was something different and seemed to perform well. STI drivetrain swap will be mandatory to turn up the power more!

Definitely will be getting the process west intake manifold with port injection. And sadly will have to go front mount. I love the top mount tho, sticks with the Subaru heritage

Old setup with the stock turbo and side exit made 385whp and 390tq. Shooting for 500 with the next bit of mods

For 500whp or more you need port injection, different intake manifold like the BRZ or Process West. But to the owner cool to see a different setup where the turbo sits but my experience with TMIC seeing those IATs i switched to FMIC 2 weeks later lol. Whenever i decide install my upgraded turbo i will be using the Boostlab 54X turbo on stock motor, Nostrum HPFP and Injectors, process west intake manifold (non port injection) with FBOs on E60 and will push the stock motor to 470 whp+ & 400 tq on stock clutch lol. Currently i am at 365/360 with FBOs with E60 tune stock turbo with conservative phatbotti tune.

Very sick build. To much red and black theme I would’ve taken off a bit and made it more sleek/stock looking but then again it has a huge fender exit 😂. 400+ on a FA motor is normal here in AZ. I have a couple friends running a flex fuel kit , injectors, fuel pump & a bigger turbo running 400+ on a stock motor. It all depends on maintenance, oil & obviously the tuner. It seems like subie tuners are finally understanding how to make that power consistently and “ reliably “. That turbo spool sounds insane on camera can’t imagine in person!!

Nice build I own a 2018 sti 140,000km complete stock and runs great still, the only thing that’s odd to me since it’s my first subie is that it shakes like a v8 lol is that normal?

Yes very common in all subies. To minimize it get aftermarket motor mounts. Since you have an ej25 it’s super easy to replace them
