Those solos are super fucking hard to play. Dont listen to anything Mr. Jones says, dont listen to anyone. Just know: that shit this guy presents is not easy to play. Cuz its not.

No One Is Innocent is my favourite. He is obviously one of life's natural musicians cos I've been trying decades and still find it difficult.

Once he had the fourth 9 there was no way he was getting out, but I could see Robl maybe folding before the river on a read of something like Q9. That's still a tough tough lay down to muck a boat, but I've seen it done.
@mrexists540014 күн бұрын
I've lost quads vs quads, but kind of the opposite here, flopped quad 3s and the other guy flopped full house with 3 jacks and he got the fourth on the river, was a 30k pot

I've been listening to this album for nearly 40 years now and it continues to blow my mind. As much as I love Anarchy and GSTQ,I replay Problems more than any other song lately. Steve chanels the blues and Chuck Berry in that song.Lydon's lyrics are the definition of confrontational, tight rhythm section, etc... Yeah,nobody is going to confuse Steve for Robert Fripp or Jimi,nor does Steve pretend to be a virtuoso. But he is in my book.And he seems like a really cool dude.He was the first celebrity I ever took seriously when it came to sobriety too.Decades before I got clean,I remember his PSA about drugs killing his friend, and nearly killing him. Years later and drugs killed many of my friends and nearly killed me. I hope I become a cool old fart like Steve one day.

Seen this video loads of times but never before noticed he's got Ronno on his T shirt. Two great Les Paul players in one camera shot.

Can make a case for a fold there as it was obvious he had queens. Not saying its an easy lay down but i would have folded easy

To be honest I think the Fender Twin sounds better than the Marshall.. especially with the P90 pick ups. I had a marshal & didn’t like the muddy tone.

FYI- I wouldn't say having the nuts a betting was wrong there. By Robl raising, Toby had to think he must have a Q- why not get money in. too often you slowplay and get outdrawn OR= you make no money. I didn't think the bet was too big and though it all went in at the end, there was no guarantee that it was going to. I'm surprised, that both announcers and Laak thought it an unwise paly- very old school train of thought.

My grandfather was a serious poker player his whole life. After he retired he would play twice a week and ALWAYS ended up ahead. My grandmother made him give her half of his winnings every time and she stashed it away. They were born in 1912 and 1909 and didn't come from rich families so they lived paycheck to paycheck for decades and raised 4 kids. He said one time he had quad 7's and bet all he had and one guy had a royal flush. I asked him if it was possible that the guy cheated. He said, "No, everyone knew what would happen to them if they got caught cheating." He said one time that a new guy from where they all worked got caught cheating and they tied him up, put a tourniquet on his right arm very tight just below the elbow and chopped off his hand with an axe. Then they dropped him off at the hospital. My grandfather was tough as nails and they say that his father was even tougher, he was the Sheriff for awhile in a small town and he was the only one so he was always alone when arresting someone. He got fired for being to rough. He had a billy club made of lead washers and didn't hesitate to use it. We still have it and his Sheriff's star.
