I got to know this piece on Monday my old high school wind ensemble played this at their concert on Monday I was a little scared when they screamed during the part of the piece 😮 😳

Oh Jocelyn, what a beautiful tribute to all teachers! I love it. Yes, we try hard each year to "catche our students in our web of learning, and then must release them on their journey. I think of the 5th grade boys often headed for trouble. Sometimes, they were caught with dueling conga performances. Congratulations on your beautiful music.

Just got to hear the NDSU choir sing this - what a touching message for a closing song by a touring choir, to hear them sing "if on earth we meet no more, I love you in my heart" before they take their leave from what is very likely our one meeting in this lifetime.
