I absolutely love your work, the third or fourth of yours I’ve seen, if you have any classes you’re teaching, or live demos coming up I’d be stoked to be there. I’m digging the family friendly pieces too, how about a candle, or lamp project.

Your fundamental understanding of traditional glasswork and your easy narration, over top of a relaxing bit of music, all make for a brilliantly produced video. The Tools in your studio are magnificent, and thank you for showing some class.

It is better to do it with a flame rather than a gather of glass. So you don't partially fuse the two together.

Please don't stop making your videos! There is such a need for these, especially basics like this one. So many videos take for granted that everyone knows this stuff, and start their videos with all the prep already done off camera. It may take a while to get followers, but they'll find you! Thank you.

@kevinmcleod6329

fuming with copper is possible, but it doesn't make nice colors, and the vapor is VERY toxic, so there is a lot of risk in it for little reward

Can we get more info on the quartz mini torch 👀 that thing is neato
@MarcusBarnesGlass
@MarcusBarnesGlass Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! This is a borosilicate hand torch that I made. It's a very simple design, but is certainly a delicate tool. They're great for heat, super clean burning. But very finicky when it comes to adjustment of flame. They can also quite literally explode, so the set up has to be done with proper flashbacks and utmost safety in mind. Hope this helps! Thanks for commenting!
@Mr.Broccolini
@Mr.Broccolini Жыл бұрын
@@MarcusBarnesGlass oh that's even more neato, I didnt think boro could handle the radiant heat of the flame. I guess the oxy is enough to cool everything though! Is it essentially just a tube to a "y" split with barbs?
