There is a little bit of distortion, as if the image is projected on a cylinder, which is only visible on the extreme wide angle panning shots. Most likely this is due to limitations of the anamorphic adapter. And yes, the shaking ... not a big fan of this. As soon as you start using a larger shutter angle that most likely results in blurring. But overall the quality is good
@ChengduLittleA5 ай бұрын
Those are all very true! :D the slight black edge on the side is indeed the border of the anamorphic adapter, the lens mount seems to be slightly offset due to manufacturing imperfections and also the small size of the sensor making problem more prominent. In terms of shaking, obviously this camera is too lo-fi to have nay stabilization. Due to rolling shutter, post-stabilization didn't work very well either so I leave it that, kinda adds to the super-8 ish character too :D
@Rob_655 ай бұрын
@@ChengduLittleA Now you mention it ... there is only a slight bit of tearing visible in the panning short. I think that the image quality is great for a lo-fi camera. Don't forget that this kind of "point and shoot" videos are hard with a manual camera without any imaging trickery in the cameras firmware.
@ChengduLittleA5 ай бұрын
@@Rob_65 indeed. That makes it more of a retro thing cause it's very much all manual

China is the greatest nation on Earth, if I was 20 years younger I'd learn the language and emigrate, no question. I have very fond memories of backpacking through China from Beijing to Hong Kong 22 years ago. Outstanding culture, people and food. Back then China was breathtaking but now China looks like the future in popular Sci-Fi such has the the pace of development been. Long may it continue. Apparently KZbin has shadow-banned my comments so I doubt anyone can see this.

Great tutorial thanks. is it possible to slide as a stroke effects on object 's contour using line art? In the words, How to trim line art strokes and then how to scroll along contours?
@ChengduLittleA3 жыл бұрын
you could probably fiddle something with simplify(sample mode) modifier and dash modifier to get that "sliding" effect...
@davidramis-us3 жыл бұрын
Does this allow you to use a transparency map to drive the line art? Like for example if you have a leaf with a simple mesh that uses an alpha map to define its edges, could you turn those edges into line art?
@ChengduLittleA3 жыл бұрын
Hi! Currently it's not possible to use any sort of map to control line art transparency bits, you could only use specified material to do it uniformly

@@Zig-Zag-Eyes if you have materials, check material line art occlusion is set to 1, sounds like that was a small bug with a certain version of blender😅 already fixed in later lineart branch

SUPER HELPFUL! Ive seen another way of doing this, but I think this works better! Do you have a video about the exporting options? like, if you wanted to take this lineart image and turn it into a hi-res jpeg?

I am having an issue. On the Occlusion tab for the grease pencil modifier, it says object is not in front. I have a scene setup as yours with three cubes. I am using 3.0 alpha version. And, thank you for your effort on this feature in blender.
