Why show an image of Al Safliya (a Q-Flex) in the Panama Canal? Q-Max are too large for Panama Canal.

Impressive technical construction! Just some curiosa: *Power-wise this engine could be replaced by ~120 formula-1 engines *In the first stage the Saturn 5 rocket consumed about the same amount of fuel per SECOND as this engine per hour.

We need to pray daily for the healing of the Panama Canal. The water is drying up and it is entangled with water spirits. Christians must pray for the water to be restored and for ships to be safe. The Panama Canal is necessary for the safety of all people. Once the United States controls it again, it will be the great body of water it was meant to be. Please pray for all God's people who travel through the canal. “In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.” Isiah 27.1

How common is this installation on ships worldwide? Seems like this device has limited benefit only when the winds are favorable.

Pretty sure the most powerful ship engine in the World is the real restricted power of one of those American Super carriers. Unfortunately they will not say what it is really capable of doing and yes, after they have powered Tokyo after the Tsunami and parts of the Philippines after natural disasters with power left over to run the ship. In an emergency those big carriers are actually fast and agile!

During manual/davit launching, is it necessary to tie the painter with ships' strong point directly, without via weak link? Or we can remain the painter same as it is( painter connected to ships strong point via weak link)?
