It would be so good if i could use the looper as an input block, so i could loop my dry signal and change different amps, and ater i could panning to left/right would be useful too.

Great videos! I just got my MG 101 and it’s great, but I have a question. What is the significance of the alphabetical character in these patch names? Like “7A” and “3C”. What does the A the C refer to? Thanks.

I have a question about these pedals, because if we compare them with other brands like nux or valeton, do they really have the same degree of power? Does it compete and would they be even? because I think that being Chinese they may not have the same preamps and "quality", so to speak. Nice video!!

Thank you for this awesome video. I'm still on v4. I wonder if I load v3 presets, make a small tweak and save it, it will convert it to a v4 preset so it would work on v5.

I'm 74 and have spent the last 20 years with a Digitech RP150 and a Fender 10w Frontman amp. I just upgraded to this MG 101 and a Blackstar Fly3. My living room never sounded better. Thank you for this video. I learned a couple things. However, how do you loop record the drums as a first layer? Whether in NR or AR, after trying to record them on the looper, when I turn off/stop the drums, the loop is empty. Unlike in this video, when I play the guitar along with the drums and then play back, the guitar is recorded but the drums are not there.

Guitar > MG-101 Stereo output from the 6.3mm port > Interface > Logic Pro. That's how it pick up all the sounds in MG-101.

@@jimmyrocks43 Thank you very much for responding. I'm going to try to copy what you did in the video. When I found I could not record a drum sound as the first layer to play over, I stopped trying to use the looper. So far, I turn on a drum sound, press record on the looper, stop the drums and/or press 'play' and there are no drums in the loop. or I turn on drums, press loop record, play guitar over drums, press playback and hear guitar only, no drums. Unless the unit is defective, there's something I'm not doing right

@stevenspringer1599 play the drums first, and record the loop. That should act like the video. If not, I believe there's something wrong with your device.
