Really great insights on strategic foresight: the how or the execution of it through leaders and team

Very clever. Its a shame he doesnt have a sequel to tell us where his hope comes from, how he demonstrates that he is not lethargic and apethetic and what he is doing to live more sustainably to end the quick-fix society and environmental destruction. Everyone can recite profound sentiments but it is if/how they are put into action that makes the change we need. It is the 'how' that people can be inspired by and then 'doing it' that makes the change.

I love this Rebecca - this needs much more attention in the popular media. Please think about writing a book or going on some podcast interviews.

Works on puzzles. When you get stuck on a word or clue, walk away and do something else for a while. When you come back, there it is: the right thing/move/word just waiting for you.

With a downtown area that caters to tourists, I find very little that draws me in.

Something like 40% of the energy generated by power plants is lost over uninsulated lines. The infrastructure of the U.S. is horrendous.

I love the call for work to be compassionate, to be a place to create value and engagement especially when we are experiencing death, loss, illness, grief, and hardship. This gets me thinking about the dysfunctional belief that when we go through hardship we should take a break from work. Thank you both for this video, and I hope you are well.

When will we realize the troubles we have at work (communication/interpersonal) are the troubles we have across our lives? What will it take for that realization? What an excellent question, one that resonates with Human-Centered Design. Those questions get me wondering where might we be in the next 5-20 years in our lives such that we would see an impact at our work. You all talked about the essential need for trust, and that is where I'd like to see the shift. What if we stopped waiting for people to "earn our trust" and looked at trust as something in Maslow's Heirarchy 2.0, something more foundational. Awesome. Thank you.
