Regarding Lo-Bot, I was about nine or ten years old when I saw Superman III. That scene where the bad guy lady got turned into a robot *_freaked me out._* 😱 Of course, I now understand what was going on in the story, and as an adult, the whole thing was hokey and silly. But I would have obsessed over seeing a human being connected to a giant supercomputer, and not in a pleasant way, believe me. It's a good thing for me that _The Matrix_ did not come out when I was a child, or that would have freaked me out, too.

Absolutely not good that Kenobi and Anakin were like brothers. That's literally the reason Kenobi shouldn't have been Anakin's master. That relationship wasn't anything close to the relationship between Qui-Gon and Kenobi had. Channels like these just make stuff up and see if it sticks. Super unfortunate.

On opening day, it is the very first time I ever ditched school! I was 12 and in junior high school. I had asked my parents if I could miss school that day. They said 'No', so I went anyway. By the time the school had called home (I was a latch-key kid) it was too late! I was already in the theater watching the movie. My folks immediately knew what I had done (My Mother actually thought it very funny, Dad not so much) and because they knew where I was, and what I was doing neither bothered to come and get me. My Mom did on her lunch break come home and leave me a note "You Mister, are grounded! Do not go anywhere, do not use the phone, and NO TV! You father will deal with you when he gets home!" LOL I was grounded for three weeks and not allowed to go to the movies for the rest of the year! Totally worth it!

I really enjoyed when Anakin walks towards Obi-Wan who is swinging at him, and he just leans back to dodge the blow, doesn't even slow down. I watched the fight earlier today and at the part where they walk out on the beams I kept thinking this was a bad idea for the fight, because it opened up a question of "why doesn't Vader just cut the beam?" and apparently, as we saw here, he was supposed to. I'm not sure about the whole throwing lava thing, it makes the Force too OP, imo, but it looked pretty cool. I think they fight could've used some more footage, but they still should've avoided all the crazier ideas. I would like if there were scenes where Anakin was losing a bit and some where Obi-Wan was more on the run, maybe even hiding from Anakin, some dialogue could've been added, maybe, unless it disrupts the energy of it all.

I don't mean to start a controversy but I think it only made the duel 9 times better.

They would have to cut out the younglings scene- as evil as that was it's quite crucial for the Story :)

Also in Tie Fighter from Lucas Arts in the 90s Darth Vader is named Lord of Sith and Palpatine as described a politician motivated to create an authoritarian state. More like a Julius Caesar. But I meant then, Lord of Sith is just an honor title to Darth Vader and has nothing to do with Palpatine. BUT I really liked the Sith in 1999 The Phantom Menace as a dark counterpart to the Jedi.

It’s so stupid to have Obiwan actually beating Anakin, chopping him to bits. The proper script should be that Anakin kills Obiwan but in doing so was mortally injured.

I remember my mom's friend's kid bashed my Lego sets with a lightsaber. When I tried to protest, his mom came to his defense that those are just Legos and I can just rebuild it. I swallowed my rage and kept quiet. But man, was I angry.

I gotta say Kylo Ren was the better version of Anakin Skywalker and I think his relationship with Rey as the two grandchildren of Vader and Palpatine remains a pretty damn amazing story for the sequels. People need to let go of this idea that Luke was infallible- after all he did the same thing Yoda and Obi Wan did after turning their padawan into a monster. Especially after the Obi Wan Series - he had given up. Yoda had given up. Made sense Luke gave up. He was not perfect which is why he was a good character. He had flaws. Heck he wouldn’t have even helped Kenobi if his aunt and uncle hadn’t been killed. It took the emotion of revenge to motivate Luke in the first place which proves he was always kind of a fucked up emotional character and nothing we saw in The Last Jedi was out to character if you were paying attention to his arc.

Well, you gotta figure, Han had the hots for Vader's daughter. Vader had to make sure Han had respect for his future father-in-law.

I now think of the fight between obi wan and vader, more akin to the 8th Dan kendoka.. Unlike they younger kendoka, the 8th Dan are all about the single perfect strike, where the younger members are all about pressing multiple strike to win.

Revenge of the Sith has so many scenes/ideas that got cut. The duel between Anakin and Dooku was supposed to be so much better than the one we got, Yoda was supposed to win the duel with Sidious only to be chased away by an army of clones, Vader was going to attack Sidious and be subdued when he learned Padme died, and now THIS. We desperately need a director’s cut.

Well showing all the dismemberment isn't the point. Just like it didn't show Anakin slaughtering all the sandpeople in ep.2. The point was is you see Anakin fall loose himself on tatooine and then gone on mustafar. It's not about showing the killing at all really. It's about Anakin being taken over and also how the empire was set up in the galaxy. There was no need to see all the carnage when it wasn't the point. Same with Vader hunting down the remaining Jedi. That was after the Emperor had his empire. Ep. 3 was about the fall of the public and Anakin and the rise of the Empire and Vader.
