Just got back from a week in wonderfull g/ yarmouth and recently made a visit to lathems what i was sad to see was in August they are setting up for CHRISTMAS the kids are still on holidays we havent had halloween ,yet here they are setting up for this now very commercialised time of the year! The most wonderful time of the year is now a can't wait till its over time of the year as its in our faces for monthes.

The synth soundtrack focuses me on the hopes lost by those homeowners. I can only hope they were second homes that served they purpose, and not people's retirement plans. Those carefully constructed steps and driveways now leading to a drop to the beach and the sea... Meanwhile, to the north, the quay at cley-next-the-sea is separated from the sea by a mile of salt marshes deposited since there was a harbour there.

The stone defences seem to work. There should be more of it the length of beach to save the homes of those in actual danger and danger to life. Governemnt has failed to protect its citizens. Again...

We will be there in great Yarmouth just over a month from now. 20 th of September to the 4 th of october.and staying at a gorgeous and beautiful caravan park. Called. Seashore holiday park right by the sea. From where we live it will take us almost 5 hours by 3 trains. From coleshill parkway ( west midlands.) to Ely. Then from Ely to Norwich. Then from Norwich to great Yarmouth. And believe me when I say this. We can't wait.

Interesting to note that the area where the large rocks have been dumped has not eroded so much. It looks as though the houses were built on sand. A beautiful but precarious existence. Best wishes to all the residents.
