Hello! I am glad you have decided to recreate this dress with me. What do you think about using acrylic yarn? Do you like my technique without cutting the yarn after each row?

🧶For those just starting out. FYI that just bc a yarn is expensive or "pretty" doesn't mean it's durable. In most cases it is not. 🧶 Caron1Pound, Red❤️, Loops&Threads (Michael's) and Big Twist (Joann's) are great! Red❤️has been around for MANY MANY DECADES. 🧶 Those afghans ur gramma made you in the 40's-50's-60's-70's that are still around? Yah most likely that's R❤️or Wintuck. 🧶 Make ur amigurumis out of R❤️ and pop them in the washer/dryer and see how soft and fluffy they will be!😁🙋🏽‍♀️Kat-💟💟💟💟💟💟

Hello, I just watched the entire tutorial and I enjoyed it very much! I like your explanations and descriptions. Yes I did catch the extended double crochet and I’m glad you pointed it out! That must be a good compromise between doing a double crochet, and a treble right? I do have one question, I understand the beginning change should be a multiple of 3+ one. I got a little confused when you mentioned it should be divisible by six. Because we divide the chain into four sections? If I use the multiple of 3 +1 that’s good enough? Ah math is not my strong suit 😂 I plan on making this for my teenager. Thank you!
@HobbiCROCHET
@HobbiCROCHET 11 күн бұрын
Oh, sure, my bad. For mesh pattern we need multiple by 3 +1. We don't count that+1 when we divide it by 6. That 1 extra stitch is added at the back just to make mesh stitch pattern complete. Hopefully it is not so confusing. Maybe I will need to make another tutorial as I really like this type of tops now. And thank you very much for pointing that out 🙂
@HobbiCROCHET
@HobbiCROCHET 11 күн бұрын
Yes and we do divide it to 6- 2 parts goes to the back, 2 parts for the front, 1 for the sleeve and the last 1 for the other sleeve. That's how I got 30 and 30 (31) for the front and back and 15 and 15 for sleeves

@@HobbiCROCHET oh that’s very kind of you thank you! I really enjoyed your tutorial, I feel like you really simplified making a raglan style mesh top! I’ve made the kind that is straight across, like a shrug or sleeves. But not in raglan . Now I’m motivated to get started & have plenty of cotton yarn. Thanks again and have a great day!

New sub here. Love how you need less yarn than in other bottle patterns (at least it seems like that's the case, gonna try it out soon to see) because I have a cotton/nylon yarn which is pretty tear resistent
