@@CodRaven1728 The links provided in subsim radioroom seem to be about fifteen years old and already dead. (Frankly, I am not totally convinced Keltos himself is still alive after such a time period).

Sadly it does not. The floatplanes are modeled but you can't launch them.

If your on a Windows computer You need to install sh4 normal and sh4 U-boat missions somewhere not in program files (86X). Try reinstalling to something like C/Game/SH4. if that does not help you can go to Subsim.com and get more detailed help there.

Good to know. I was thinking of playing the remaster of this game when i get a PS5. I take it that it works the same way in the remaster?

@@CodRaven1728 I don't know. I'm playing mostly on the PC and don't even own any console newer than a PS3. So I've only played this version. I made the same mistake in my first playtrough. I was missing one plan for a dungeon, so I couldn't get the mats to build the next dungeon and therefore missed the dungeon plan that you get in that dungeon and the next after that, and so on because it all builds on each other. In the end I couldn't get the candidates until the second playthrough.

As for something like this actually happening in real life well... things like this did happen but they were more assassination and less action knife fight like. for example I-176 Sank USS Corvina off of Truk on the November 16th 1943 it is possible that I-56 Sank USS Snook as Snook went missing in April 1945 Southwest of Okinawa. As for a example of Japanese losses they include: I-73 Sunk by USS Gudgeon on January 12th 1942 (The 1st USN Submarine to sink a IJN Submarine), I-168 Sunk by USS Scamp on July 27th 1943. Also I-22 a Kiraisen Type 4 class submarine was sunk by USS Skate on June 9th 1945. there even English and Dutch Submarines that Sank Axis power submarines including the only confirmed underwater to underwater submarine kill when HMS Venturner Sank U-864 on February 9th 1945.
