Astros had some boppers the first half of the seventies, but wasn't there a year in there where they hit 23 home runs at home for the season? Might have been 1979, the Jose Cruz/Enos Cabell/Terry Puhl era. Cruz led the team with 14, the only Astro player in double figures. Scoreboard didn't go off very much that year.

Went there when I was a teen. A teacher got stuck in there about five years ago during a workshop. A teen got stuck in there last year. It's open to the public one day a year. Otherwise you have to make reservations.
