If the operator somehow gets confused them self where the pea is wouldn't this end up as a Schrödinger's shell game where the pea is both under the cup and not there at all until somebody looks?

They’re just ordinary coke bottle tops. The pea is from “school for Scoundrels”. But most decent rubber peas will do the job.

Interesting handling on the asher twist part of that. Every change happened on somewhat of an off beat and made it very hard to follow/detect the moments that should be "hidden" so to speak...very very good. Keep it up.
@collinclaus Жыл бұрын
Thank you, yes I filmed it a few times and that one felt particularly fluent. And I know what you mean about the kind of off-beat moments, I can’t seem replicate that every time, but when it hits, it definitely makes it more fooling.

How long did it take u to get this good, I’m not gonna stand on a sidewalk and rob people I just wanna know if it’s easy or not, u could trick the smartest people in the world and they would have no idea what u did, I’ve replayed certain parts of the video and I can’t see anything happening, have u been practicing for years like a side hobby or u just learned this in a couple weeks
@collinclaus Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comments. This routine took me quite a while to perfect - about 6 months. I study magic effects I like and then just practice them until I get them down to a fairly decent standard. I’m not a particularly fast learner, so it often takes me longer than it would other people. It’s a really fun routine to practice though.

It's always in his hand. The pea is rubber and against the felt, it allows the operator to move the cap backwards or forwards to either place or remove the pea. It's a scam, you will lose every time. You only win if the operator wants you to win.
