You did a fantastic job on this video, thank you for sharing it. What is the name of that water softener/ brand? The head is fleck correct? Simple and very solid unit.

I think I might have mold at the bottom of mine. Now I’m worried there’s mold throughout my water pipes. I’m going to call the company when they open on Monday but any advice or info would help so much.
@TheGreenAcreWI
@TheGreenAcreWI Ай бұрын
@@Kidscraftycreate According to a Google search: "If you find mold in the salt tank (brine tank) of your water softener, you can usually clean it by running a "bleach cycle" through the system, which involves adding a diluted bleach solution to the tank and then initiating a regeneration cycle, but always consult your water softener manual first to ensure this method is safe for your specific model and follow the recommended bleach concentration." Hope that helps!

I don't like the Cobra buckle. I want a normal traditional buckle with no option for failure. Livestock guardian dogs cannot take any risks with a collar that could open on its own or otherwise fail which is what will eventually happen with that Cobra buckle

@@pixelupdates7041 I've yet to have any issues with the Cobra buckle. It requires two levers to be depressed to unlatch just like a traditional buckle. To each their own though 👍

After living with men who freaked out and felt sorry for themselves when anything went wrong, your positive attitude is extremely refreshing. So question. I don't have A entire Unit indoors. The main part with the fan is outdoors and excuse me for not knowing what anything is called right now but I’m in A panic. Do I look for something different as far as A hose that could be clogged?? Let me back up. I was changing the filter and its wet??? My 1st thought was to cut the power and go outside and spray down the outdoor compressor. Is anyone on this link right now who may know

Thank you so much. My HVAC unit is in the attic and it was leaking and I turned it off; 24 hours later it stopped leaking, so I’m pretty sure it’s the same issue as you had here. It was overworking and the coils probably froze and couldn’t do their job. I’m not an HVAC woman so I probably will end up calling that $100 guy because now I’ve got to fix the ceiling in the closet over which the AC is located. Thank God it is in the 70s this week!

My air conditioner was leaking at my apartment complex. Believe it or not, the air conditioner unit is in a little room in the bathroom of the apartments here. I called maintenance twice about the leak, and after they left both times, the leaking was still going, just not as bad. I watched your video and fixed it myself. Mine was much easier to fix than yours. I just pulled those tubes apart and drained the water, and now the leak is completely gone

Thanks for the video. My local plumbing company came to check similar issues happened in my basement. They initially said there's a problem or something clogging which is going to cost me $50 to fix. Unfortunately I was not at home and was at work. They call me half an hour later and said that the coil of the air-conditioning is damaged and will cost $2000 to fix including labor. I'm not sure what to do. Any advice would be grateful. Thank you

Wow, you saved me from a costly plumbers visit. I replaced the filter that my plumber suggested but there wasn't a change, still leaking just like yours was. Was ready to try to take off the metal lid like yours when I noticed that the drain pipe has a clean out on the top. I unscrewed it and it was filled with water. Pushed a electrical fish wire through a few times and voila' the water came rushing out into the drain pump and was ejected. Hopefully my problem is now gone. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

@TheGreenAcreWI
@TheGreenAcreWI 4 ай бұрын
@@sylviarobles91 if the elbow is leaking it might be cracked or water is getting through the threads. First, double check that there isn't a block somewhere in the line and then either replace the elbow or apply teflon tape to the threads to take up any space that moisture might be getting through.
