what if youʻre using a 4 lines bar?

You can use a 4 line bar. The kite will flag out conventionally on a single front line.

Hello! with which kite would you get more power in low winds Sonic or Soul?
@FlysurferKites
@FlysurferKites 2 ай бұрын
SOUL has more low-end grunt, SONIC has more performance. Both have great low end power.
@aleshaborisovich
@aleshaborisovich 2 ай бұрын
@@FlysurferKites I think Peak has more low end than Soul and Sonic, but you can't generate lots of power from it. You can from Soul and Sonic. I need a kite to generate as much as possible power in low wind. Thinking between Soul2 12m and Sonic 4, 12m. Which kite would give more power by looping it in 3-4 knots?

@FlysurferKites
@FlysurferKites 2 ай бұрын
Patience is your friend when launching a foilkite, the better pre-filled the kite is, the more control you have. Just do not start it directly at 90 degrees of the wind window, the kite needs a bit of space to fly to the edge of the wind window to fill completely with air.

 @FlysurferKites Can you show us how to pack it without the bar attached to it? I want to wash my bar afer every session, and hang the wet bar somewhere to dry away from the kite... Dont' you wash your bar after every session? If so why do you pack it like this. it makes washing the bar impossible... (plus a wet bar will make the kite wet) so can you show a tutorail how to pack the kite without the bar attached? *I really do not understand why many tutorials shows you to pack the bar, this means you never wash it, and salt will kill it faster than it should...
@remiduval5241
@remiduval5241 Ай бұрын
Hello. I will try to reply though i m not from flysurfer but i feel like it s not too complicated. First you can wind the lines in the bar as far as you can including the mixer and the bridles, use half hitch to secure them at the end (just stop to leave some room for the bridles so that the kite stay flat on the ground). Then same situation as on the video but let the bar on the leading edge side near the point where the kite is folded in two. Then simply roll the kite without the bar, by starting with the two tips (they should be one on top of each other like in the video) and roll along the leading edge (try to keep the battons at the same level when rolling). Then fold the resulting package in 2 or 3 at the end (i dont like the end of this video because the guy is twisting the battons and that could be avoided). Then put the bar in or outside the bag. You can wash it with some clear water when at home to remove the salty water. And let it dry with the rest of the kite still packed appart from the bar, that should be fine. The important point is to try to avoid rolling the bar on itself as you might twist the bridles.

What is the advantage of using the b-safe versus using just the chicken loop release? Do you have to release the chicken loop to activate the b-safe? On the website it is not explained
