What about securing the head side of the bolt? A drill gun with socket will jerk the blot loose.

so how far down do these LEDs shine down the road?
@ViperLGH9 жыл бұрын
I would use an angle grinder, as simple as that...
@bennylloyd-willner9667 Жыл бұрын
When using it on e LED bar or round light there won't be much room. Of course, there will always be the possibility to grind some part off to steal the light, but security stuff isn't meant to stop the thief 100%, just make it so tedious to break that they'll hunt for a simpler car to steal from.

If you put a large washer and a nut on top to keep the spanner from slippng off of the security nut I think it will come off.

the difference between a rigid and china led bar is something you would have to see to believe. absolutely no comparison.
@ShabbernigdoXingjian10 жыл бұрын
rigids do make a good product but they are also about 10 times the price on a good number of their products so you gotta ask is their light 10x better then the ebay version?

These lights are terrific. I work in the oilfield driving a tanker and installed them on each side of my trailer. They really turn night into day and make it possible to see everything around the trailer's sides. They pierce thru fog, rain and dust with exceptional ease. I plan on ordering 2 more to install on the front of my truck and the rear of my trailer for 360 degree protection. The seller I bought from was great to deal with and when I order the others it will be from the same seller. I had to buy a 40 amp wire harness to install mine as no harness was included, but O'reilly's in town had harness. creeledlightbar.com

I think cree is a serious Chinese company as it relates to off road lights
@ShabbernigdoXingjian10 жыл бұрын
Cree is american company that sells LED's to the chinese then they make products with them and sell them back to the usa and other nations.
@ShabbernigdoXingjian9 жыл бұрын
Emil Fløche umm no. Cree was formed in 1987 by researchers from North Carolina State University. In 2005, Cree opened a subsidiary, Cree Asia-Pacific Ltd., in Hong Kong.[3][4] In March 2007, Cree acquired Cotco Luminant Device Ltd of Hong Kong for $200 million.[5] Cotco is a supplier of high brightness LEDs in China. In 2009, Cree announced an agreement to purchase a 592,000-square-foot (55,000 m2) facility in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China, Cree’s first chip production facility outside of North America.[6] Also in 2009, Cree announced an expansion at its Durham plant

i have a question? what kind of toggle switch do you have to change the light from spot to flood and both combo?...i just bought that light bar and the toggle switch it came with only turns on the combo both at the same time! Im curious if you can tell me how I can come across the right switch to use which ever light option I want !...hope to hear from you thanks

Thanks for sharing mate, they look fine for off roading purposes, for distant lights I would use a couple of IPF 900 or KC 6x9, I haven't found a reason for paying $900 for Rigid ones, how do they work now ? after a year of usage ?
@1Quick610 жыл бұрын
The problem is led light bars are not meant to go a great distance, even the best will only get around 100m. If you want distance stick with a set of spotties.
@_Hey_its_Lefty_10 жыл бұрын
not necessarily true my ridged industries E-series dual row lightbar can shine up to 1.2km away with 30m spread each side......... all depends on what you spend, I would rather buy and hook up two hand torches then get a cree'p of shit
