Such good advice! Sometimes it’s easier to walk away rather than staying in super toxic environments. Especially when it’s draining your positive energy / turning you into a negative person! Protect your peace always 😇

Master indifference. Master yourself. Know good boundaries. Keep a healthy and happy personal life. Build your skills, confidence and competence. Know how to handle yourself when around toxic people. Know how people manipulate. Know when to go. Know the difference between toxic behaviour and bad days. Because truly toxic people are very damaging to you and the people that surround them, pay attention early and protect your sanity.

And she's backkkk! Needed this video so badly last year! Toxic workplaces rob you of your energy until you become a lumbering zombie. Set boundaries, know your worth, work smart not hard and take steps to future-proof yourself. In the meantime, you got this! Keep doing great 🐐🤠💪

I’m great thanks. This is a great vid! Couldn’t agree more. Sometimes a persons actions are devoid of thought for others, like you said usually those actions have nothing to do with you. Understanding that is the first step to moving on and not needing closure. I feel like closure is sometimes an excuse to hold on to that person (particularly relevant within an unsuccessful relationship). Very human to want closure but I find that it rarely helps.
@lotsofloveariya13 күн бұрын
@@arooney4317 i couldn't have said it better myself!! seeking closure in some situations is often a thinly veiled approach to hold onto someone. and i agree, it is very human to still want closure.

Tbh I wouldn't use other people as an inspiration because you don't really know what is going on in their life. Are they even happy in their career, their relationship or marriage, having children yes ok but that alone means nothing. What is that relationship like and how are they being raised. They could have dark secrets or hidden illnesses which you don't know about. Other people are not a standard to go by. There is no race to achieve anything because life is transient. It's only a temporary state so be present as best you can in every moment, that's all you can do.

Uni is not for everyone nor is it needed for every career, make the decision based on what it is you want to do. It's a fact that it does not secure you a better job or career, if anything it 100% gives you debts. Also if you are unsure with what you want to do, fail and quit as much as possible, each time you do, you do get closer to the answer. Visuals are good btw, I think there were a little too many for the length of the video, felt very choppy but nonetheless love the style and tone ❤🧡

if you can’t find a job with a high salary, remain patient & always be opportunistic! get on linkedin, do a 2-4 week course to boost your skills and add to your CV and ask to volunteer/intern wherever you can.

@@siddhanthjatti4366 that's okay. I think an apprenticeship is a BRILLIANT option and I wish I had done one but because I didn't know what I wanted to do, I imagine i would have struggled to find the right apprenticeship for me. Thanks Sherry! Apprenticeships are a really cool way to learn without having much experience😁 also, ask for work experience/voluntary programmes wherever you can! I actually volunteered at the theatre I work for now, when I was 15 - that helped me a LOT in my application as it shows my interest😁 I like the phrase ‘it’s not what you know, it’s who you know’, so always ask people you know about opportunities❤️
