I know I'm WAY late to this party, but in case someone else stumbles upon this video, I'd like to clarify a few things: The characters will be of one of three types. Dashers can use bursts of speed to, in addition to gaining a bit of ground, also enable them to climb up slopes. Bashers can break through certain walls and also plow through enemy racers. Gliders can... Glide... Trivializing certain platforming sections and also allowing them to cut certain corners. These abilities require energy. No energy, no ability. Mind your meter. Also, you will start each race as the type of the character you chose, but if you collect 10 of those green rocks (in the same race), you ascend to a "Tribrid" and have all 3 abilities at your disposal (For the duration of that race), provided you have the energy to use them. Damaging opponents causes them to drop a few of the rocks they were carrying (Although I can't quite recall if Tribrids revert after losing too many rocks, or if they even drop them...).

Having seen every part of Life is Strange, the second episode is definitely my favorite.

I’m pretty sure Max is bi, not lesbian. She’s definitely into boys, but if you make the right choices, she can definitely get into a girl-girl relationship.

And, more importantly, Emi, did you introduce your cosplay partner to that *extremely crucial* fact, those few years back? Don't worry if you didn't realise that. Hardly anybody did. The first episode of Before the Storm was already out before the devs at DeckNine learned about it themselves, as even they had not picked up this character feature. Pretty weird, isn't it? I mean is it just me, or in real life that's something you usually see straight away...

You were sooo worried about Pompidou, and all it took to make sure he's okay was to look around the diner. Not that I don't understand the pressure of the moment and all, but still. Haven't watched your second playthrough though (yet), maybe you realised it then.

It's really weird playing/watching this when you know which character is voiced by which va, and how few va's there are in LiS. Like, normally it just seems like you're talking to a bunch of characters, but all I can think of since Max enters the pool and starts chatting people up is (in the order of appearance): Hey Chloe! Sup, Nathan! Nice, uh, accent you got there! You sound weird, Victoria. So do you, Kate... Oh, you missed another conversation with Nath... I mean, Luke. Just A conversation with Luke. Hi there, Warren. Is there even a difference in what ripped Justin and drunk Warren sound like? Why won't you let her in, Chloe? Does Max need to go get the other Max to yell at you? Oh, that didn't work, because Max realised it wasn't her handwriting and so it must have been Max who added herself to the list. Now for the VIP section... Hi nice Victoria, glad you don't need anybody's company but Trevor's. Greetings to you too, regular Victoria. You're perverted, jock David. You're disgusting, junkie David. Hang on, Chloe, Max's just gonna talk to Chloe here, and then she's ready to bounce... So, yeah. As I said, not a lot of voice actors in this game. I'm glad that Courtney is the only alter ego of Max, because as great as Hannah Telle is at her main part, she is not able to really change how she sounds. Just look at Ashly for reference: with only Chloe she can make the regular voice, the alternate timeline voice (which is kinda softer, more thoughtful, and... joyless) and young voice, especially in Farewell (btw, Hannah there sounds exactly the same as in the original season), which actually sounds like a kid. And besides that, she has more characters than 2, and is still able to make each have something characteristic about how they talk.

It's funny how you said "Farewell" just as you went outside. It's yet another example of your prophetic powers regarding Life is Strange ("David's probably gonna save my life at some point"; "I'm either going to save everybody or kill everybody at the end, it's what's gonna happen isn't it"; etc.). Seriously though, I know you either didn't play Farewell yet or just won't post a let's play due to laziness/business/whateverelse-ness, but a part of it does take place in the yard. The cute part. Just kidding, all of it's cute'n'sweet. And sad. So bitter-sweet, I guess.
