If far end is fixed, then K = I/L and If far end is hinged, then K = 0.75*I/L or (3/4)*(I/L)

Mostly derivations are not asked in exams. You just focus more on numerical problems. And if you have time then go for derivations.

6EI∆/l² is formula but in AB=10m you took 6EI∆/5 it should be 6EI∆/100

I revisited the problem and found nothing wrong in it. All the values were substituted as per the formula. If you still not able to get clarity, please feel free to comment again with your doubt.

Bro how did you solved those 3 equations can you explain it
@AbhishekCivilTech
@AbhishekCivilTech 2 жыл бұрын
If you want to solve manually, you can go for matrix methods like Matrix Inversion Method, Gauss Jordan Method, Cramers Method. or You can use scientific calculator and using mode option, selecting appropriate format of equation like ax+by+cz=d. You enter coefficient values. I will make a video soon you will get more clarity. Thanks for watching

Sir, in AB we have two point loads buts u have calculated only one load
@AbhishekCivilTech
@AbhishekCivilTech 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, We should consider one load only. Because another load is acting on the joint, not on the member AB. If it is acting on the member then we should consider that as well. The load which is acting on the joint does not produce any moment because in first step we assume Joint B as Fixed Support. Hope your doubt got cleared. Thanks for Watching

Bro can u pls explain about how to calculate P1 forces ... I don't know about it , I hope u understand bro
@AbhishekCivilTech
@AbhishekCivilTech 2 жыл бұрын
Bro It is similar to the calculation of P0-Forces. I have explained calculation of P0-Forces joint by joint. Similarly take each joint separately and resolve them to get P1 forces in individual members. Nothing new in it.

Why don't we consider 80kn downward force for calculation of 'Ve' in P&F
@AbhishekCivilTech

At point E, the vertical shear is 120KN. So we dont consider 80KN.

90 kn load. Is not considered
@AbhishekCivilTech
@AbhishekCivilTech 3 жыл бұрын
There is no 90KN load in the frame. I think you are asking about 80KN load. That load is acting exactly on the joint. So we dont have any moment due to 80KN load. Thanks for Watching.

Then how to draw shear force diagram to this
@AbhishekCivilTech
@AbhishekCivilTech 3 жыл бұрын
1. Divide the frame into 3 members 2. Calculate the Reactions at each end based on given loads and calculated moments using equilibrium equations. 3. Then using the reactions calculate the shear forces at various points on that member 4. Then draw the Shear Force Diagram as usual like you draw for Simply Supported beam
