The lectures are so interesting that sometimes I forget to like the videos. My suggestion is to add a pop-up or some other method to remind viewers to subscribe and like (I want to make sure all the videos in the playlist are liked). Thank you for your hard work, sir! 😊

Quick note: You have to restart your console. Otherwise it will not find your freshly installed java. So just close it, type "cmd", press enter and retype "echo %JAVA_HOME%". Now you will find your java. Same with version command :)

Apparently, you have to use the command java -version instead of java --version on windows.

Both work fine for me on my Windows box. 🤷♂ (Guessing maybe they updated Java to accommodate either/both.)

this shows the java runtime environment (JRE) version. to show JDK version you have to do javac -version
